Outrage as IDF Soldiers Evacuate Jewish Presence in Qusra

Israeli security forces arrived this morning in the Qusra area of Judea and Samaria following the establishment of a pioneer Israeli outpost near local Arab homes. The commander of Central Command, alongside top commanders from the Judea and Samaria Division and the Border Police, arrived at the scene, where forces are currently acting to evacuate the structure erected at the location. An ongoing incident is unfolding near the village of Qusra in Judea and Samaria: In recent days, Israeli pioneers stayed near Arab family homes in the area, establishing a Jewish structure in Area B, which was subsequently declared a closed military zone by security authorities. This morning, senior defense officials arrived to oversee the evacuation of the Israeli residents from the site.

The Central Command chief, the Judea and Samaria Division commander, and the Judea and Samaria Border Police commander arrived Wednesday morning for an inspection tour of Qusra and neighboring outposts. During the visit, commanders spoke with the local Arab family residing at the site, who, according to an IDF spokesperson, clarified that their residence remains connected to electricity and water infrastructure. Meanwhile, Border Police forces operated to dismantle the structure erected near the home and initiated the removal of the Israeli civilians present at the scene. An IDF spokesperson stated that the incident remains active and security forces are maintaining a presence on-site. The IDF noted that “during the tour, commanders addressed with severity the actions carried out by Israeli civilians toward the family and instructed several operational steps moving forward.” Additionally, disciplinary measures were ordered against the military unit documented at the site several days ago.

The events in Qusra are occurring against a backdrop of ongoing friction in the Qusra and Jalud regional sector. Military officials stated that following recent reports of Israeli residents entering local Arab structures and properties in the sector, a closed military zone order was imposed. Concurrently with the enforcement actions in Qusra, Civil Administration inspectors executed extensive enforcement operations against unauthorized construction across northern Samaria. As part of the operation, dozens of structures were demolished in the former communities of Ganim and Kadim, alongside the destruction of a large 850-square-meter facility near Sa-Nur.

“Show Some Class”: Netanyahu Pick Slams Political Attacks

Tech entrepreneur Oren Dobronsky—Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s first reserved candidate on the Likud party slate—addressed overnight (Wednesday) the deluge of reactions surrounding his entry into politics, expressing gratitude to thousands of supporters while firing back at critics: “If this is how you treat newcomers, why on earth should good people make this sacrifice for you and the future of your children here?”

Dobronsky expressed hope that additional business owners and tech entrepreneurs will choose to enter political life, emphasizing: “I am here to build and repair what needs fixing. Our wonderful country is deeply precious and worth fighting for.” Addressing critics directly, Dobronsky voiced frustration over double standards: “People constantly complain here that there are too many career apparatchiks in politics, and then when a successful figure from the business world actually steps up and makes an immense personal sacrifice, you immediately look for ways to crucify him?” He added: “That’s fine, I understand you disagree with my views, but come on—a little statesmanship, a little patience, a little class. Why not give credit even when someone isn’t on your political side? Don’t worry, I promise you’ll have plenty of opportunities not to agree with me.”

C14 Exposé: PM Unaware Hamas Stole Gaza Engineering Gear

The theft of engineering equipment on monday by Hamas terrorists who infiltrated Israeli-controlled territory was not reported in real time to political leadership. The Prime Minister’s and Defense Minister’s offices only learned of the incident from our report on Channel 14.

A senior political source described the scale of the failure to C14: “The refusal to grant authorization contradicts explicit instructions from the political leadership to open fire at anyone crossing the Yellow Line and threatening our forces.” As we first revealed, several Hamas terrorists crossed into the Yellow Zone after being spotted by IDF observation posts, stole engineering equipment, and returned to the Red Zone without any fire being opened at them.

Moreover, soldiers testify that they identified the terrorists in real time during the act and requested authorization to eliminate them but were denied by senior command. This serious incident reflects the scale of the failure over the past two weeks, since the political leadership’s explicit order to halt fire operations in the Strip except in cases of clear and immediate danger to life.

Major Tel Aviv Bridge Closure to Snarl Traffic for 2 Weeks

Drivers in the Tel Aviv metro area, take note: maintenance and safety work on the KKL Bridge will cause major disruptions for two weeks. In the first phase, westbound-to-eastbound traffic will be blocked, followed by closures in the opposite direction the following week. The Ayalon Highway will stay open, but heavy congestion is expected in the area.

Two weeks of traffic disruptions are coming to the KKL Bridge area in Tel Aviv-Jaffa: Starting Saturday night (August 15), maintenance, rehabilitation, and safety work will begin on the bridge, closing travel lanes alternately in both directions.

The first phase begins Saturday night, August 15, at 11:30 p.m., and runs until Friday, August 21, at 6:00 a.m. During this period, westbound-to-eastbound lanes on the KKL Bridge will be closed as part of work to replace expansion joints in the bridge.

During the closure, the entrance to Highway 20 southbound from the KKL interchange will remain open as usual. Exiting from Ayalon South, drivers will be able to turn right onto KKL Boulevard but won’t be able to turn left onto the bridge. From Ayalon North, a left turn will be possible, and safe pedestrian passage will be maintained on the northern section of the bridge.

What you need to know about the closures (Hebrew)

The disruptions won’t end after the first week. The second phase of work begins the following Saturday night, August 22 at 11:30 p.m., and runs until Friday, August 28 at 6:00 a.m. This time, lanes on the bridge will be closed in the opposite direction—eastbound to westbound. A detailed announcement about traffic arrangements for this phase is expected shortly before work begins.

Despite the bridge closures, the Ayalon Highway itself—Highway 20—will remain open throughout the work period. However, due to expected changes around the interchange, officials estimate heavy traffic congestion will form in the area, and drivers are asked to prepare in advance and use alternative routes.

Public transportation in the area will also be affected by the work, with expected changes to bus routes and station locations in the relevant sections. The work will be carried out with traffic supervisors and in coordination with the Israel Police.

The work is classified as essential safety maintenance and is being advanced by the Transportation Ministry and the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality through Netivei Ayalon, the company that manages the highway. Drivers are advised to check their route in advance and stay updated on changes before heading out.

Haifa Board Seat Given to Hamas-Hezbollah Defender

Despite fierce opposition and videos showing Hadash faction head Raja Za’atara refusing to define Hamas and Hezbollah as terror organizations, Haifa’s city council approved his appointment tonight to the board of the Haifa Economic Company. The appointment was first reported by NWS. The Economic Company is Haifa’s main arm for managing and developing the city’s high-tech parks and strategic infrastructure. Among other things, it manages Matam Park, which houses the headquarters and R&D centers of Elbit Systems, alongside development complexes of Rafael and Israel Aerospace Industries in the city’s science and high-tech park.

By virtue of his board membership, Za’atara may be exposed to business and strategic information, urban development plans, security arrangements, and procurement agreements related to the activities of companies and industries operating in the city. In the political system and among opponents of the appointment, warnings are being raised that this is an “immoral and dangerous appointment” that they claim could create a security risk and damage the trust of defense companies operating in Haifa.
Haifa Municipality’s response: “Ze’ev Jabotinsky wrote that ‘in any cabinet in which a Jew serves as prime minister, the deputy prime minister will be Arab’—so all the more so in a mixed city and model of coexistence like Haifa, an Arab can be a director in the Economic Company.”

Itamar Ben-Gvir | Photo: Yonatan Sindel, Flash 90

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir: “The appointment of Raja Za’atara, someone who refused to define Hamas and Hezbollah as terror organizations, to the board of a company responsible for strategic infrastructure and managing complexes where sensitive defense industries operate—is absolute madness. Someone who can’t say that Hamas and Hezbollah are terror organizations shouldn’t come near a place where he could be exposed to sensitive information related to Israel’s security. I call on the mayor of Haifa and the city council to come to their senses and cancel this dangerous appointment immediately. Israel’s security is not a political game.”

  • Mojtaba Installs Six New Hardliners to Lead Iran’s Next War

Mojtaba Installs Six New Hardliners to Lead Iran’s Next War

C14 reported today (Tuesday) evening on major changes at the top of Iran’s ayatollah regime. Despite growing rumors surrounding his serious physical condition, Tehran claims Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei appointed senior officials to the regime’s security leadership Monday. The appointments are raising questions about their implications—and whether, and to what extent, the shakeup makes Iran more dangerous.

Mojtaba Khamenei selected six senior regime officials who, at least according to Tehran, are expected to lead Iran’s next war. In the same breath, he may also have selected the next candidates for elimination—men who could find themselves in hell sooner than expected.

Ahmad Vahidi is now Commander of the IRGC. He is wanted by Argentina over his alleged role in planning the 1994 AMIA Jewish community center bombing in Buenos Aires, which killed 85 people, and remains the subject of an Interpol Red Notice. His elevation places one of Iran’s most experienced and notorious military figures at the very top of the regime’s armed power structure.

Mostafa Izadi was appointed Vahidi’s deputy. A longtime senior figure in Iran’s military establishment, he recently oversaw cyber and modern-threat operations, bringing decades of experience spanning conventional warfare and military technology. His elevation into Iran’s new command structure puts an experienced regime insider near the center of Tehran’s preparations for prolonged confrontation.

Ali Abdollahi is now chief of staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, placing him at the center of Tehran’s preparations for future conflict. A veteran Iranian major general, he was Iran’s top operational command responsible for coordinating the IRGC and regular army, has overseen military planning and wartime operations and has repeatedly threatened a “swift, severe and decisive” response to Israel and the United States.

Hossein Taeb was appointed commander of the Basij—the force responsible for killing approximately 50,000 Iranian civilians in the streets over the past year. Taeb is one of the regime’s most powerful figures, the former head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization and Mojtaba Khamenei’s right-hand man.

Kioumars Heydari was appointed deputy to Chief of Staff. A longtime hardliner, he survived a reported Israeli assassination attempt in June 2025 and subsequently moved into Iran’s senior wartime command structure. He has publicly threatened Israel—including warning that Iran could “flatten Tel Aviv and Haifa”—and was sanctioned by the U.S., EU and UK over his role in the violent repression of Iranian protesters.

Ali Azmaei now leads the IRGC Navy. He spent more than a decade operating in the strategically critical Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, and has been under U.S. sanctions since 2019. Upon emerging as naval chief, Azmaei warned that Iran’s “divine revenge” against Israel and the United States was “not far away.”

Notably, Mojtaba is not appointing moderates. He is choosing some of the regime’s most extreme figures—men expected to remain fiercely loyal to him. The appointments point toward an increasingly hardline leadership surrounding Khamenei, assuming he is indeed functioning amid the growing questions over his health.

Mojtaba’s message is clear: Iran is not backing down. Instead, the regime is escalating its posture toward its foremost enemies—the United States and Israel. Whether these appointments strengthen Iran for its next confrontation or merely give Washington and Jerusalem a clearer picture of who will be sitting atop the regime’s military command when it comes remains to be seen.

Iran’s most ruthless men are rising through the ranks—but if another war comes, their promotions may prove to be death sentences, just as their predecessors discovered.

LA Families Surprise Lone IDF Soldiers with Birthday Gifts

When family is thousands of miles away, even a small gift can feel like a warm embrace: Lone soldiers serving in northern Israel were surprised on their birthdays with personal gifts sent directly to them from Los Angeles.

Behind the heartwarming surprise are volunteers from the “Otzma LaChayal” initiative. Ahead of the soldiers’ birthdays, volunteers coordinated with their families in the United States to collect personal gifts and surprises, delivering them straight to their bases in northern Israel. Alongside the packages from home, the soldiers received gift vouchers and treats—along with a powerful reminder that even when home is on the other side of the world, family remains close. Ido, one of the surprised soldiers, shared: “The moment I saw the gift from my family in Los Angeles, I was truly moved. For a second, I felt like they were right here with me. It’s a hug from home I won’t ever forget.”

Shani, who was also surprised on her birthday, struggled to hold back her emotion: “Wow, thank you so much. You really don’t understand how much this means to me. I wasn’t expecting this at all, especially with my family being so far away. You made my day.” Yigal, a combat fighter in a reconnaissance unit, recalled coming back from field training to find the surprise waiting: “Wow, I came back from training and suddenly saw everything you prepared, with all the soldiers gathered together. I genuinely didn’t expect it—it was an incredible and moving moment.”

  • Tal Yinon Dardik Freed After 38 Days—But Can’t Go Home

Tal Yinon Dardik Freed After 38 Days—But Can’t Go Home

Tal Yinon Dardik was released from custody tonight (Tuesday) following a 38-day campaign and hunger strike, after the court ordered his immediate release without any restrictive conditions. However, in a sharp twist, while the administrative order behind his initial arrest was struck down, a new order has already been issued against him.

    So what actually happened?

The saga began with an administrative order issued against Dardik by Central Command chief Avi Bluth—no evidence, no trial. Dardik was arrested for allegedly violating the order after he supposedly forced his elderly, deaf, widowed mother-in-law to leave her home against her will. But it was later determined that the order itself was unenforceable, and it was canceled. Despite that, Dardik remained in detention. Even when prosecutors agreed to release him, they wanted to do it with restrictions. His lawyers objected, and today Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court sided with them, ordering his immediate release without conditions.

As far as the fight over the original order goes, that’s the end of the story: Dardik is free and the order is canceled. But in parallel, the Central Command chief issued a new administrative order against him, barring him from Judea and Samaria except for Modi’in Illit. In other words, he’s getting out of detention, but he still can’t just return to normal life, to his home and farm—his livelihood.

    A new battle begins?

It’s not yet clear whether Dardik will petition against the new order too, but after the fight over the previous order ended with his unconditional release, it looks like his story is far from over. Bottom line—he’s out of detention, but the battle for the ability to return to his life in Judea and Samaria is probably just beginning. After the court’s decision, attorney Moshe Polsky said: “We welcome the court’s decision ordering his release without any conditions. It was the right call. In our view, he should have been released about two months ago. We already said the administrative order issued against him wasn’t worth the paper it was written on, since there was no legal way to enforce it. The state dragged Tal Yinon through unnecessary legal proceedings, including massive expenditures at taxpayer expense. It was clear to everyone this would be the outcome—that Tal Yinon would be released home without any conditions, because no offense could be attributed to him.”

  • Hamas Infiltrators Rob IDF Gear Amid Ceasefire Mandate

Hamas Infiltrators Rob IDF Gear Amid Ceasefire Mandate

Channel 14 News revealed tonight (Tuesday) dramatic evidence of the volatile security reality facing ground forces in the Gaza Strip. Overnight, a cell of Hamas terrorists crossed into the “Yellow Zone” after being spotted by IDF field lookouts, stole military engineering equipment, and retreated into the “Red Zone”—without a single shot fired against them. Furthermore, soldiers on the ground report that they identified the terrorists in real time during the theft and requested authorization to neutralize them, but were explicitly denied permission by senior command. The severe incident underscores the scope of operational constraints over the past two weeks following explicit instructions from the political echelon restricting live fire in the Strip exclusively to instances of immediate, clear life-threatening danger.

Exclusive data published tonight shows that over the past week alone, more than 65 infiltration incidents into the “Yellow Zone” corridor were recorded across the Gaza Strip, none of which were met with defensive fire. According to security officials, since the cease-fire enforcement directives were issued, the frequency of boundary crossings has tripled. A senior security official told Channel 14 News tonight: “Hamas is testing our boundaries, exactly as they did prior to October 7th, and is preparing a major terror operation against our forces deployed inside the Strip. What happened tonight could easily have ended in a soldier being abducted or in the stolen gear being booby-trapped, resulting in a disaster.”

  • Israel Moves to Shut Down Hamas-Affiliated Jerusalem School

Israel Moves to Shut Down Hamas-Affiliated Jerusalem School

Israel’s Education Ministry launched proceedings today (Tuesday) to revoke the license and block funding for the Nur al-Huda school in Shuafat after inspections uncovered ties between individuals connected to the institution and associations and organizations identified with Hamas.

Among the findings was a connection to the “Lajnat Zakat al-Quds” association, which has previously been identified as linked to Hamas in Jerusalem, as well as involvement by “Human Appeal,” which Israel has designated as a prohibited Hamas organization. The Education Ministry also identified additional irregularities at the institution, including the use of unauthorized textbooks, and the employment of teaching staff without the required approvals.

The proceedings follow an investigation by Hakol Hayehudi and a campaign led by Knesset Education Committee Chairman MK Zvi Sukkot, who visited the school and demanded that the Education Ministry and security authorities investigate its alleged connections and the government funding it receives.

Sukkot welcomed the move, saying: “I said we would not allow the State of Israel to fund Hamas institutions—and I promised we would see this through to the end. Today, we are seeing the result.”

“A Hamas school will not exist in Jerusalem,” he continued. “We will continue to investigate, expose and act until every institution connected to terrorist elements is dealt with according to the law. There is no extraterritorial zone in the State of Israel, and certainly not in the heart of Jerusalem.”

For Sukkot, the message is clear: Jerusalem will not fund terror.
