Shin Bet Foils Terror Attack by 19-Year-Old Arab Israeli

A 19-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim was arrested in recent weeks on suspicion of advancing hostile terrorist activity. The investigation revealed that the suspect, Mustafa Issa, had entered advanced planning stages for a domestic terror attack, heavily influenced by Operation Guardian of the Walls and the October 7 massacre perpetrated by Hamas.

At the time of his arrest, security forces confiscated substantial tactical training equipment and airsoft weaponry in his possession. Forensic extraction of his cellular device revealed extensive searches for combat manuals, as well as downloaded guides detailing the assembly and manufacture of improvised explosive devices.

Investigators further determined that Issa actively attempted to produce improvised explosive devices using various accessible compounds, even involving other individuals in these procurement and testing efforts. Upon concluding the joint probe, a prosecutor’s statement was filed with the Central District Court ahead of a formal indictment.

The Shin Bet security agency and the Israel Police stressed that they view any involvement of Israeli citizens in activities that endanger state security with the utmost severity, affirming their ongoing commitment to thwart domestic terror plots and bring perpetrators to full legal accountability.

The IDF stated that the compound was discovered during targeted sweeps conducted within the security sector in southern Lebanon. Military officials noted that the rockets had been positioned at the site before the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. The demolition was executed as part of ongoing operational efforts to remove emerging threats facing Israel systematically.

The military emphasized that it will not permit Hezbollah to jeopardize Israeli civilians or IDF personnel, reiterating that forces will persist in neutralizing tactical hazards while remaining committed to the parameters of the ceasefire framework.

Neo-Nazis Chant ‘Heil Hitler’ in New York Streets

Neo-Nazi activists shouted derogatory slurs and sported red armbands emblazoned with swastikas during an open demonstration in the heart of New York City over the weekend. The shocking display unfolded just blocks away from the official state memorial service honoring the victims of the September 11 terror attacks.

The son of one of the 9/11 victims, Michael Massaroli, who concluded the reading of victims’ names during the annual ceremony, delivered a blistering response: “You are not honoring my father’s legacy or the legacy of all the victims by using this tragedy to spread hate.”

The neo-Nazi outfit that gathered in downtown Manhattan to agitate against “Jewish power” describes itself as “white socialist,” dedicating its agenda to “preserving the white working class” and combating what it alleges to be Jewish societal influence. The demonstration proceeded without intervention from local authorities, despite brazen antisemitic chants that featured the Nazi slogan “Heil Hitler” paired alongside shouts of “Free Palestine.”

Video footage circulating online, showing neo-Nazi operatives marching openly in public thoroughfares with swastika insignias, reflects a grim reality where public manifestations of hate have become visible across New York.

The rally also featured direct threats and targeted attacks on Jewish public figures, as well as Jake Lang, an anti-Muslim Senate candidate whom the marchers denounced as a “Jew in disguise.” Throughout the march, the extremists chanted through megaphones: “Everyone needs to unite against the Jewish threat, Jewish power, Jewish manipulation—they endanger the white man and everyone altogether.”

Israel’s Oldest Holocaust Survivor Dies at 107

Yehuda Aaron Widawski, the oldest Holocaust survivor living in Israel, passed away on the eve of Rosh Hashanah at the age of 107. A businessman and devoted follower of the Sochaczew and Modzitz Hasidic dynasties, Widawski endured the horrors of the Lodz Ghetto and the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp before dedicating his life to raising a large family in Israel and executing a monumental historic mission to rehabilitate tens of thousands of Jewish graves and cemeteries throughout Poland.

Widawski was born in July 1919 in the town of Turek, near Lodz, into a religious-Zionist family that relocated to Lodz on the eve of World War II. After the war broke out, he showed extraordinary resourcefulness by securing housing for 15 members of his family within the sealed Lodz Ghetto. However, in August 1944, their world was shattered when the family was deported on the final transport to the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp.

His parents and most of his siblings were murdered upon arrival, with only Yehuda and his brother Yehoshua surviving the brutal selection. The two brothers were subsequently transferred to the Friedland labor camp. There, under the watchful eyes of Nazi guards, Widawski demonstrated daring ingenuity by devising a clandestine system to conceal aircraft parts, shielding fellow prisoners from severe collective punishment for falling short of demanding production quotas.

Following the defeat of Nazi Germany, Widawski returned to Lodz, where he married his wife, Dabrish (née Wassercug), who had also survived the Holocaust. During the immediate postwar period, he engaged in clandestine underground activity, facilitating weapons shipments to the Irgun (Etzel) in pre-state Israel. In 1950, he immigrated to Israel with his family and settled in Tel Aviv, beginning a new chapter: raising a flourishing family and building a successful business career. His extraordinary courage received formal state recognition in 2012, when he was selected to light a memorial torch at Yad Vashem’s official state ceremony on Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day.

Beyond his commercial endeavors and family life, Widawski left an indelible historical legacy through his tireless commemorative work. Beginning in 1978—under the strict oversight of Poland’s communist regime—he began making frequent journeys back to his native land. What began as an agonizing personal search for his grandmother’s grave evolved into an immense historic preservation undertaking: he directed the restoration of the sprawling Lodz Jewish Cemetery, refurbished thousands of headstones, and located and reconstructed the memorial mausoleums (ohels) of the Sochaczew and Modzitz Hasidic masters. Through this personal mission, Widawski personally assisted in identifying and rescuing more than 3,000 forgotten Jewish graves that had been lost to history for decades.

Keren Hayesod Chairman Quits After Less Than Six Weeks

Less than two weeks after officially taking office as world chairman of Keren Hayesod, Eli Vered Hazan is stepping aside. In an internal letter circulated to staff on Monday, Keren Hayesod Director-General Edna Weinstock Gabay announced that Hazan, who formally began his duties at the start of September, has decided to end his tenure at year’s end.

The memo noted that following “further consideration” and due to “personal and family factors,” Hazan opted to continue in his role only until December 31, 2026. Staff were also reassured that Keren Hayesod’s leadership will continue taking all necessary steps to maintain institutional stability and orderly organizational governance.

As previously revealed on Channel 14 back in April, intense behind-the-scenes power struggles surfaced around the appointment to lead Keren Hayesod. At the time, amid Ofir Akunis’s potential candidacy, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explored positioning Hazan as an alternative contender if Akunis was not chosen.

The Keren Hayesod Board of Trustees subsequently approved Hazan’s appointment unanimously. He then entered an onboarding period to succeed Sam Grundwerg, who had served as the organization’s world chairman for eight years. However, shortly after taking the reins, Monday’s unexpected announcement cut his tenure short.

Keren Hayesod’s management emphasized in the staff letter that standard daily operations will continue uninterrupted, affirming that the institution remains dedicated to executing its strategic roadmap while staying focused on its core missions and objectives.

  • Exposed: Joint List Candidates Eulogized Terrorists

Exposed: Joint List Candidates Eulogized Terrorists

Early last week, Joint List parliamentary faction chairman MK Ahmad Tibi declared that he and his political allies will do everything within their power to topple the right-wing government and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Against this backdrop, the Joint List is poised to serve as an indispensable cornerstone for the Israeli opposition bloc, which hinges on its political backing and the mobilization of Arab Israeli voters.

Several figures featured prominently on the faction’s slate have spent decades in the public eye, with their hardline positions and past actions widely documented. Lawmakers like Ahmad Tibi and Sami Abu Shehadeh previously faced public backlash for meeting released terrorists—Arab Israeli citizens convicted of executing lethal attacks against Israeli soldiers, civilians, and fellow Arabs who cooperated with Israeli authorities. However, the newest additions to the Joint List’s electoral slate similarly reveal a consistent pattern of glorifying convicted terrorists. Bakr Awawda, placed fifth on the faction’s Knesset list, attended public celebrations honoring the release of Karim Younis, the Arab Israeli terrorist who murdered IDF soldier Avraham Bromberg, appearing alongside other party delegates.

In another instance, Awawda published public praise commemorating Fawzi al-Nimer, an Arab Israeli terrorist who founded an underground terror cell responsible for orchestrating severe bombing attacks across Israel throughout the 1970s. Awawda wrote that he arrived to pay respects to the family of Nimer, whom he lauded as an exemplary “fighter” and “a hero of the ‘Palestinian’ people.” Nimer was directly responsible for the murder of three Israelis.

Another prominent addition to the ticket is Faten Ghattas, who joined the lineup after Jafar Farah resigned amid sexual harassment allegations. Ghattas, an ideological communist, has authored numerous articles arguing that the State of Israel is an artificial colonial invention and casting the United States as the “head of the snake” and the foremost threat facing modern humanity.

According to Ghattas’s published writings, the Jewish state was established by the British Empire solely as an imperial colonial outpost engineered to expropriate the natural resources and wealth of the Arab world. He further asserted that American Jewish capitalists financed the establishment of Israel out of an exploitative desire to amass wealth at the expense of Jewish laborers. In addition, Ghattas claimed that Israel operates the ‘Palestinian’ population as a live weapons testing laboratory driven by a motive to profit from global arms exports.

The newer faces populating the Joint List demonstrate no substantive departure from the faction’s established ideological posture: open sympathy for convicted terrorists paired with militant opposition to the State of Israel and the Zionist enterprise itself—even as leaders of the domestic political opposition actively court their backing to form a governing coalition.

IDF Troops Neutralize Suspects at Tarqumiyah Crossing

An unusual security incident unfolded a short time ago near the Tarqumiyah Crossing after two vehicles carrying approximately 20 Arab suspects rapidly approached the military position.

Soldiers operating at the scene, assessing an immediate and tangible threat to their lives, initiated suspect-arrest protocols and discharged live fire toward the approaching group, wounding one suspect in the shoulder. During the escalation, one of the suspects’ vehicles deliberately rammed an IDF military vehicle, causing visible damage to the army truck.

No Israeli casualties were reported in the encounter. Security forces remain deployed in the sector, managing the aftermath and securing the crossing perimeter.

  • Lebanon Mocks Hezbollah After Ali Taher Ridge Falls

Lebanon Mocks Hezbollah After Ali Taher Ridge Falls

For months, Hezbollah warned that the Ali Taher ridge represented an uncrossable “red line.” Yet on Thursday night, the IDF systematically demolished the extensive underground bunker and tunnel complex carved into the ridgeline. Now, leaked audio recordings attributed to Hezbollah’s tactical communications network allegedly capture the desperate final moments of the fighting, triggering widespread derision and fury across Lebanon.

Following months of relentless operational activity by Israeli defense forces, Israel razed Hezbollah’s subterranean infrastructure along Ali Taher on Thursday night. The underground network, extending for more than two kilometers, directly overlooked Metula and posed a constant threat to northern Israeli border communities.

IDF Spokesperson Effie Defrin characterized the operation on the ridge as an exceptional military achievement. Beyond the tactical victory, the fall of Ali Taher highlights the ever-widening chasm that has emerged in recent months between Hezbollah’s fiery rhetoric and the reality on the ground.

For months, Hezbollah figures insisted that any Israeli attempt to approach the ridge would trigger an overwhelming response. “The decision is made: any attempt to approach Ali Taher will be met by the Resistance,” declared Hussein Mortada, a journalist closely affiliated with the group, during a broadcast last month.

Senior Hezbollah official and Lebanese parliamentarian Hassan Fadlallah similarly asserted in June that the terror group alone would dictate the fate of the high ground: “What we agree to will happen,” he said. “And as for what we do not agree to: even if the entire world unites against us, they will accomplish nothing—at Ali Taher, Beaufort, or throughout the territory south of the Litani.”

Yet on the ground, the ridge was captured and neutralized. The contrast between Hezbollah’s brazen pronouncements and its operational defeat turned into fuel for ridicule and outrage across Lebanese social media over the weekend.

Compounding the embarrassment, leaked radio transmissions purportedly from Hezbollah fighters in their final moments on the ridge circulated online. In one clip, an operative can be heard issuing a bitter lament: “Your brother is fighting alone, after being completely abandoned.” In another recording, a voice despairs: “Two months—for two months you have made a mockery out of us. Woe to you from Allah. The situation is extremely dire.” The fighter continues to cry out over the radio, emphasizing that no help ever arrived: “Nobody came! Nobody came! Where are the reinforcements?”

The intercepted transmissions were also broadcast on the Al Arabiya network, plunging Hezbollah into further public humiliation. A Lebanese political analyst noted that the operatives inside the tunnels clearly felt discarded. He added that Iran, which had purportedly threatened to intervene directly should Ali Taher fall, took no action and has no intention of doing so.

Simultaneously, voices inside Lebanon are increasingly holding Hezbollah directly accountable for the country’s compounding ruin. In Beirut, a memorial ceremony was held yesterday for Bashir Gemayel, who cooperated with Israel and was assassinated shortly after being elected president of Lebanon. The gathering doubled as a visible display of strength by domestic opponents of Hezbollah, featuring public calls for peace between Lebanon and Israel.

Hezbollah has sustained punishing blows over the past two years, both militarily and reputationally, allowing internal rivals to reemerge. However, analysts caution against premature eulogizing. Hamas was likewise widely viewed as deterred until October 7. Hezbollah is expected to pursue rehabilitation, rebuild its depleted capabilities, and seek to re-establish its threat posture against Israel.

  • Netanyahu to Fly to UN General Assembly in NYC Next Week

Netanyahu to Fly to UN General Assembly in NYC Next Week

The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to fly to New York next week to address the United Nations General Assembly, with the official visit slated for September 23 to 25. The high-profile trip is drawing significant international scrutiny due to an ongoing public feud with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who previously called for Netanyahu’s arrest based on an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant. The visit comes just weeks before Israeli general elections, against the backdrop of escalating regional hostilities and the broader campaign against Iran.

One of the most sensitive friction points surrounding the visit will unfold outside UN headquarters, directly within the host city. Over recent months, Mayor Mamdani has staked out a combative posture against Netanyahu, asserting that the Israeli prime minister should be apprehended under the ICC’s outstanding warrant. Mamdani later acknowledged that a New York City mayor lacks sovereign jurisdictional authority to carry out such a detention, appealing instead to the federal administration to intervene. Neither the United States nor Israel is a signatory to the Rome Statute and rejects the court’s jurisdiction in this matter.

Netanyahu made clear that municipal threats will not alter his travel plans. Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon confirmed in recent days that the prime minister intends to carry out a focused, brief visit and deliver his speech despite the fraught local atmosphere. Mamdani previously called on New Yorkers to take to the streets and protest during Netanyahu’s presence in the city. The tension between the two leaders has grown increasingly personal: Netanyahu accused Mamdani of “stoking hatred,” while the mayor continued to launch fierce denunciations of the prime minister and Israeli operations.

The political calendar adds weight to the upcoming appearance. Netanyahu will take the UN podium while Israel is deeply entrenched in an intense election campaign ahead of the October 27 ballot. In recent weeks, the prime minister has focused on consolidating the political right to prevent fragmented factions from falling below the electoral threshold. According to Reuters, the upcoming contest marks one of the most critical political tests of his tenure, centering on the cohesion of the right-wing bloc and his capacity to secure a governing majority in the incoming Knesset.

Consequently, the address in New York functions as far more than a standard diplomatic stop. Netanyahu will command a premier global stage weeks before Israeli voters head to the polls, with national defense and foreign affairs at the center of the campaign discourse.

Hovering over the entire mission is the confronting dynamic with Iran. Frictions between Tehran and the West remain acute, with disputes surrounding the Iranian nuclear program flaring up once more. The United States recently blocked Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, from attending the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) conference in Vienna, prompting harsh condemnation from Tehran.

Concurrently, the IAEA continues to face significant access restrictions in inspecting Iranian nuclear facilities, while Western governments voice deepening alarm regarding Tehran’s enriched uranium stockpiles. Netanyahu himself escalated his public messaging toward the Iranian regime earlier this month, declaring it weaker than ever and locked in a battle for its own survival. Netanyahu’s appearances before the UN General Assembly have long been a signature diplomatic maneuver. Time and again, he has utilized the podium to warn against Iranian nuclear ambitions, confront institutional bias against Israel in multinational forums, and articulate his broader national security doctrine.

Archive | Photo: Maayan Toaf, GPO

Given the high-stakes backdrop, the warnings Netanyahu delivers in New York will not only be directed at world leaders and diplomats gathered in the hall; with weeks to go until polling day, domestic Israeli voters will also form a central target audience for the address.

  • Macklemore Blames Robert Kraft for Ed Sheeran Ouster

Macklemore Blames Robert Kraft for Ed Sheeran Ouster

Rapper Macklemore claimed on Monday that Jewish NFL owner Robert Kraft exerted pressure on pop star Ed Sheeran to drop him from their nationwide joint tour. Macklemore, notorious for a string of aggressive anti-Israel and pro-‘Palestinian’ stunts, issued an erratic statement casting himself as the victim of a supposed “global conspiracy” orchestrated to silence detractors of Israel.

    Photo: Shutterstock

According to Macklemore’s posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Sheeran said Kraft called him directly and warned that the tour would be barred from performing at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, owned by the Kraft Group. Macklemore further alleged that Kraft rallied fellow stadium operators to present Sheeran with a coordinated ultimatum. If Macklemore remained on the lineup, Sheeran would be prohibited from taking the stage at their respective venues.

The decision to kick the rapper off the tour—which was scheduled to include eight additional dates across the United States—came after Macklemore wrapped a keffiyeh around his head and declared during a prior opening performance: “I wanted to stand here on stages across America and say two words close to my heart: Free Palestine.”

    Video: social media

Video documentation circulating online showed that during the same set, Macklemore projected images onto concert screens describing events in Gaza as a “Holocaust”—just weeks after he made headlines at an appearance in Seattle by chanting “F*** America.”

Days after the controversial performance, Sheeran’s management team officially confirmed that Macklemore had been removed from the remaining tour stops, noting that multiple major stadiums refused to host the shows if the opening act remained on the bill.
