Hamas Threatens Israel Over East Jerusalem Terror Crackdown

Hamas issued a warning to Israel on Tuesday over its ongoing counterterror operation in the Shuafat and Anata terror strongholds in East Jerusalem, following C14’s report this evening (Monday) that Israeli forces had launched a large-scale operation in the two areas.

“Hamas warns of the consequences of Israeli activity in the Shuafat refugee camp and the town of Anata in Jerusalem, and emphasizes that the city of Jerusalem, its towns and refugee camps will remain entirely ‘Palestinian,’” the terror group said in a statement. It further claimed that Israel’s attempts to “isolate it, Judaize it and impose control over it” would be “broken by the steadfastness of its residents.”

Despite warning Israel of “consequences,” Hamas did not threaten any direct action of its own, instead suggesting that resistance would come from residents of the camps. The Israeli operation in East Jerusalem has been dubbed “Operation Combined Fist.” Border Police, IDF and Shin Bet forces launched the large-scale counterterror operation in Anata and Shuafat, near Jerusalem. The operation is being led by Jerusalem Envelope District Commander Brig. Gen. Eran Levy and Binyamin Brigade Commander Col. Anan Fares.

Pink Slams Macklemore Over Anti-Israel Concert Display

Jewish-American pop icon Pink addressed the intensifying storm surrounding Ed Sheeran’s recent stadium concert, where opening act Macklemore drew widespread outrage by using his stage time to broadcast anti-Israel rhetoric. The singer reshared an Instagram post by watchdog organization StopAntisemitism condemning the performance, echoing their characterization of the spectacle as “awful”.

In the post shared by Pink, StopAntisemitism criticized the scene at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium: “Jewish fans bought tickets to see Ed Sheeran, not to be ambushed by Macklemore’s anti-Israel propaganda. The rapper walked onstage draped in a keffiyeh, shouted ‘Free Palestine,’ falsely accused Israel of ‘genocide,’ and turned a mainstream concert into an anti-Israel political rally. Ed Sheeran – attendees deserve apologies and refunds; this is completely unacceptable.”

During his scheduled opening set before tens of thousands of fans, Macklemore delivered an overt pro-Palestinian speech while wearing a keffiyeh. The rapper told the audience he wanted people “from Gaza to the West Bank” to know they had not been forgotten, spoke of peace versus “bombs and planes,” and concluded with calls to “free Palestine” alongside mentions of other global conflict zones.

Later in the set, he performed his anti-Israel protest track “Hind’s Hall” while giant stadium screens broadcast footage from Gaza and pro-Palestinian demonstrations. Originally released in 2024 during demonstrations across U.S. college campuses, the track levels accusations of “genocide” and “apartheid” against Israel, aims at Zionism, and claims the Nakba has never ended.

Macklemore is listed on Ed Sheeran’s official tour roster as a scheduled opening act for multiple upcoming stops across the United States, including dates in Philadelphia, Foxborough, Atlanta, and Indianapolis. The performance triggered fierce backlash from Jewish and Israeli families who purchased tickets expecting a music tour rather than an anti-Israel political platform. Neither Ed Sheeran nor his tour management has publicly commented on the controversy.

  • UK Foreign Secretary Imposes Sanctions on Israel

UK Foreign Secretary Imposes Sanctions on Israel

Britain’s government is continuing its anti-Israel line: Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband presented a series of measures against Israel in Parliament today (Tuesday), chief among them a blanket ban on trade in goods and services in Israeli territory, alongside sanctions against construction companies operating in the area. Jerusalem is already threatening a sharp response to the move.

At the outset of his remarks, Miliband tried to emphasize his commitment to Israel’s existence and the fight against terror. “I say to anyone who questions Israel’s right to exist—you are wrong,” he said, while simultaneously announcing sanctions against Hezbollah’s economic arm, Al-Qard Al-Hassan. Still, he made clear that “securing a two-state solution is the central compass of this government’s policy.”

The British foreign secretary also addressed his personal connection to Israel and Hamas’s murderous terror attack on October 7. “I am grateful to the State of Israel for giving my grandmother a home after the Holocaust,” he said, recounting childhood visits to see her in Tel Aviv. According to him, the October 7 attack was “a massacre whose echoes still reverberate” and “a murderous act by a murderous terror organization.”

But after those words, Miliband shifted to a sharp attack on Israel’s government. “Today we mark the beginning of a new approach, to expose wrongs and act against them,” he declared. “Our quarrel is not with the people of Israel, but with the conduct of its government.”

Miliband went on to say he feels “a great sense of shame about what is happening in ‘Palestine’,” and even called what’s happening in the Gaza Strip “a stain on the conscience” of Britain. According to him, the steps the British government is advancing are meant “to save the only chance for peace—a two-state solution.”

The British move marks another escalation in London’s policy toward Israel, with the measures this time not limited to policy statements but including an attempt to directly harm Israel’s economic activity. Israel is monitoring the move and threatening to respond sharply to the sanctions.

Court Rejects Bid to Freeze E1 Construction Tender

The Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday denied a petition seeking an interim injunction to freeze the residential construction tender in the strategic E1 corridor, ruling that no legal justification currently exists to halt the bidding process. The ruling ensures that the tender’s marketing procedures will proceed as planned.

At the center of the proceedings is the Mevaseret Adumim master plan (E1 South), under which a public tender was issued to construct 1,234 high-density residential housing units across seven neighborhood compounds. The court found no material change in circumstances since earlier requests for interim orders were denied, and that the balance of convenience continues to weigh decisively in favor of the State and the Ma’ale Adumim Municipality.

The ruling noted that substantial procedural runway remains before the project is carried out on the ground—including the submission of bids, vetting, announcement of winners, and formal municipal licensing procedures. The court further emphasized that it will adjudicate the core petitions on their merits at a later stage, and that allowing the tender process to move forward does not create an irreversible factual reality at this time.

The petitioners were ordered to pay legal costs amounting to 2,500 NIS to the State respondents and an identical 2,500 NIS to the Ma’ale Adumim Municipality. Mayor Guy Yifrah welcomed the ruling, calling it another significant stride forward following decades of politically motivated delays. Ma’ale Adumim Mayor Guy Yifrah told Channel 14: “There are judges in Jerusalem. I commend the court’s decision not to freeze the E1 tender and to allow this vital, historic process to continue moving ahead.”

Yifrah added: “After more than three decades of delays, external pressures, and repeated attempts to obstruct construction, E1 is transforming from a blueprint on paper into tangible reality on the ground. We will continue to act with determination to ensure Ma’ale Adumim grows, flourishes, and connects contiguously to Jerusalem. The first 1,234 housing units are already out to tender, and we eagerly await developers and contractors coming to build the future of Ma’ale Adumim with us. E1 will be built. I want to thank our legal counsel, Adv. Gili Rogel, who successfully represented the municipality in this case and has shepherded the E1 construction project for years.”

  • Israel Approves 1,665 Dunams for Judea, Samaria Towns

Israel Approves 1,665 Dunams for Judea, Samaria Towns

A significant milestone in strengthening and expanding Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria was finalized on Tuesday, when Finance Minister and Defense Minister Bezalel Smotrich, alongside Binyamin Governor and Yesha Council Chairman Israel Ganz, announced the formal publication of a new “blue line” municipal boundary. The delineated jurisdiction encompasses 1,665 dunams (approx. 411 acres) allocated for the communities of Kida and Yishuv HaDa’at in the Gush Shilo bloc.

The move follows Cabinet decisions over the past year that officially recognized both localities as independent, fully regularized Jewish communities, clearing the legal path to promote comprehensive master building plans (TABA).

The boundary demarcation culminates a decades-long effort by pioneering residents and constitutes a key pillar in the national framework to solidify and expand Jewish life across the region. Kida was founded in 2003 as part of the young settlement movement and endured protracted administrative and legal hurdles before receiving official Cabinet recognition as an independent community in December 2025. Yishuv HaDa’at was established in 2001 as an agricultural farm before developing into a residential community, receiving formal independent status in March 2026. Urban planning authorities are already advancing an initial master plan projecting over 1,000 new residential units across the two communities.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich welcomed the development, emphasizing that Kida and Yishuv HaDa’at persevered with determination through roughly 25 years of waiting for the Israeli government to advance their full regularization. Smotrich noted that, as part of the broader national policy of regularizing young communities in recent years, the government has completed the process here as well, with the newly published boundary serving as a powerful catalyst for long-term demographic and infrastructural growth.

Binyamin Governor Israel Ganz added that both communities represent trailblazing initiatives built over more than two decades of dedicated conviction. The vision is now materializing as they transition into fully regulated, flourishing towns as part of the development transforming the entire Gush Shilo region.

Hundreds of Brits Push Back Hard on Israel Sanctions Idea

While British Foreign Secretary Edward Miliband attempts to interfere in Israeli internal affairs, threatening to sanction Israel and to “reset” the relationship, eight hundred British citizens made their opposition heard in Parliament. The issue at hand is Miliband’s threat to sanction parts of Israel that have been part of the country since 1967 –  communities in Judea and Samaria (erroneously referred to as ‘The West Bank’).

Today, C14 spoke with Steve Winston, Managing Director of the National Jewish Assembly, a congressional Jewish body with thousands of supporters who speak out publicly seeking to counter anti-semitic, anti-western, and anti-Israeli activities in the U.K, something they say, since 2024, “Under the Labour government, has been increasingly difficult to do.”

    Photo: National Jewish Assembly

Winston says that the goal of letter-writing campaigns is to educate Members of Parliament and to get information in front of them, “in their inbox.” He also warned of the dangers of silence, stressing that for Jews and their allies, speaking out is a must. He says that Members of Parliament are generally expected to respond to their constituents, although it takes time.

NJA cites Jerusalem as an example criticizing Britain for promoting a ‘Palestinian’ state including East Jerusalem, despite what happened when Israel’s Jewish holy places last fell outside Israeli control.

They write,”Under Jordan’s control, Jews were expelled from the Jewish Quarter, synagogues destroyed, the Mount of Olives cemetery desecrated and Jews denied the Western Wall. Under Israel, holy places are accessible to all faiths…Jerusalem is Israel’s capital and should remain under Israeli sovereignty.”

In the letters to British Members of Parliament, members wrote, “The Government repeatedly invokes “settler violence” as though criminality by a small minority establishes a case against Israeli communities as a whole. It does not. Every country has citizens who commit violent offences; in functioning democracies, they are dealt with through that country’s police, courts and criminal justice system. Israel is no exception.”

The letters continued, “Even the reported scale of “settler violence” requires scrutiny: UN Watch has challenged OCHA’s methodology for including non-violent incidents and other categories that can overstate physical violence.”

NJA has successfully run a number of campaigns from letter-writing to counter-protests. They are preparing to encourage the British government to take action against the Muslim Brotherhood, planning a “Parliamentary Lobby Day” in January of 2027.

France, Canada Weigh Joining British Sanctions on Israel

Britain is expected to unveil a series of economic measures against Israel on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Israel time. France and Canada are also considering joining the move and imposing similar measures, according to a report by the Qatari network Al Araby.

The report claims Britain is holding talks with France and Canada in an attempt to coordinate a joint move and expand the sanctions to additional countries. According to assessments, both countries are weighing whether to stand with the British and adopt similar measures.

Britain is expected to include restrictions on importing goods originating from Israeli territory, particularly agricultural products. Alongside this, individual sanctions are being considered against Israelis whose names have been linked to supposed incidents of violence against ‘Palestinians’. In addition, measures are expected against activists and organizations that Britain claims are working to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

However, diplomatic sources estimate that at least in the initial stage, this is a move with more declarative and political significance than immediate impact on the ground. Full implementation of the restrictions requires completion of legal and regulatory procedures, so the assessment is that some of the measures will not take effect immediately.

The possibility that France and Canada will join Britain could significantly expand the move and transform it from a limited British step into broader Western pressure on Israel over policy in Judea and Samaria and the war in Gaza.

  • Netanyahu to Tap C14 Analyst Bardugo for Likud Slate Spot

Netanyahu to Tap C14 Analyst Bardugo for Likud Slate Spot

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to appoint prominent political commentator Yaakov Bardugo to a reserved spot on the Likud Knesset slate under the terms of the merger agreement with Gideon Sa’ar’s New Hope party, Channel 14 political correspondent Moti Castel reported on Tuesday. High-level consultations are currently underway to finalize exact slate placements and candidate rankings.

Channel 14 previously reported for the first time that Prime Minister Netanyahu had initially set aside an additional reserved slot for MK Michel Buskila under the merger accord with Sa’ar, beyond the prime minister’s personal quota of reserved slots. According to Castel, however, Sa’ar agreed to waive Buskila’s reserved spot to seat Bardugo on the joint ticket.

The clause addressing the appointment appears separately in the factional merger agreement, stipulating that “the party chairman shall be authorized, in consultation with the faction’s legal counsel, to determine the placement of the National Right candidate on the slate.” In total, ten reserved spots are slated for distribution. On Monday night, Netanyahu met with Sa’ar for an extended one-on-one meeting that touched on upcoming diplomatic initiatives expected to be unveiled in the near future.

Concurrently, one of the most prominent public figures Netanyahu tapped for a reserved slot is Talik Gueily, mother of the late Master Sergeant Ran Gueily of the Yamas counter-terror unit and an Independence Day torchbearer. On the morning of October 7, Ran rushed into the line of fire despite being injured, saved numerous lives, and fell in battle. His body was abducted by terrorists into the Gaza Strip and later recovered and returned to Israel in Operation “Braveheart.” In the months since, his mother has become a prominent public voice dedicated to memorializing his heroism and sacrifice.

Joining her on the ticket is Elisha Medan, an IDF combat reservist and one of the founders of the Jewish community of Avigayil in the Hebron Hills. Medan was critically wounded during intense combat operations against terrorists in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, in a battle that claimed the lives of four of his comrades. As a result of his severe wounds, Medan underwent a bilateral leg amputation and an extensive rehabilitation journey, later receiving the honor of lighting the Torch of Healing and Rehabilitation on Independence Day. Medan was selected to take the spot originally slated for high-tech entrepreneur Oren Dobronsky, who opted not to run in parliament.

Another key figure Netanyahu selected for the slate is attorney David Peter, a prominent voice within the conservative legal camp. In recent years, Peter has been a vocal critic of judicial activism and the conduct of the Attorney General’s office, and has played an active legal role in key public interest cases championed by Netanyahu’s government. His inclusion injects an outspoken advocate of judicial reform directly into the Likud list—a central issue that remains a major focal point in the political arena.

Subsequently, the party announced an additional reserved candidate: Brig. Gen. (res.) Amir Avivi, founder of the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDFS / HaBithonistim). Alongside Avivi’s appointment, the movement he founded was announced to formally affiliate with Likud. Avivi completed a long, distinguished IDF career in senior command roles, including Deputy Comptroller of the Defense Establishment, Chief of Staff to the IDF Chief of Staff, Deputy Commander of the Gaza Division, Commander of the Sagi Brigade, Commander of the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion, and Commander of the Combat Engineering School.

Herzog warns UK: Sanctions are a ‘grave error’

President Isaac Herzog addressed deliberations in the United Kingdom and additional countries regarding potential commercial sanctions against Israel on Tuesday, cautioning that such a step would amount to a “grave error in judgment” and blatant meddling in Israel’s democratic elections.

    Photo: Yonatan Sindel, Flash90

Herzog referred to reports indicating Britain could impose trade sanctions later in the day on Jewish communities and enterprises in Israel, warning that other nations might follow suit. “If this happens, and other nations join, I believe it will prove to be a grave error in judgment and a choice to stand on the wrong side of history,” he stated.

The president emphasized that any punitive international economic measures would carry immediate domestic political ramifications for Israel. “In the current context, this would constitute blatant interference in the democratic elections of a sovereign nation. And it will serve no one,” Herzog cautioned.

Herzog underscored that commercial boycotts would also backfire locally: “It will also directly harm the ‘Palestinians’ by depriving them of businesses and employment opportunities. Ultimately, it will undermine the interests and national security of free nations.”

Calling on foreign capitals to step back from punitive economic measures, the president urged an immediate shift toward constructive engagement: “Sanctions are not the solution. Dialogue is. I say to all foreign governments: Stop! Turn away from the dead end of sanctions and boycotts, and move toward constructive dialogue and cooperation.”
