Knesset to Debate PA Violations, First Time Since ’93

For the first time since the Oslo Accords were signed, the Knesset will hold a comprehensive debate next week examining the ‘Palestinian’ Authority’s violations of the agreements and Israel’s handling of those breaches. The session was initiated by MK Tzvi Sukkot, chairman of the Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria Affairs, and will take place within the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.

During the debate, Knesset members and security officials will be presented with comprehensive reviews of substantial violations of the agreements by the ‘Palestinian’ Authority over the years, including security issues, smuggling, economic activity, environmental oversight, treatment of holy sites, antiquities, and more. The session will also examine policy directives regarding these violations alongside a review of actions taken by the IDF and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories over the years.

MK Tzvi Sukkot said ahead of the debate: “More than three decades have passed since the Oslo Accords were signed, but never has the Knesset or any other state institution held a thorough debate examining the scope of the Palestinian Authority’s violations and the price the State of Israel pays for them—including the precious blood of thousands of Jews murdered as a result of this cursed agreement.”

Sukkot added that today “we are the world’s most naive country. We signed an agreement without ever stopping to check how much the other side is trampling on it. The time has come to understand there is no real partner on the Palestinian side and to put the facts on the table. If the ‘Palestinian’ Authority violates its commitments time and again, the State of Israel must reexamine its policy and ensure its security and national interests are protected. This is a historic debate designed to end the years-long ignoring of the reality created in the wake of the Oslo Accords.”

IDF Destroys Immediate Use Rocket Launchers in Gaza

Israeli forces struck and destroyed four rocket launch sites overnight Tuesday into Wednesday across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip—positions that terror organizations had built in recent weeks after the ceasefire took effect.

The destroyed launch sites were ready for immediate use and posed a threat to Israeli forces and Israeli civilians. The IDF said forces under Southern Command are deployed across the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat.

Yossi Asraf, head of the Givat Ze’ev local council, is the official arrested this week in a corruption case, after being detained for questioning by the National Fraud Investigations Unit at Lahav 433. The investigation focuses on suspected breach of trust, tax offenses, and abuse of authority.

According to the suspicions, Asraf was involved in illegal construction on properties he owns, including apartments and an event hall that allegedly operated in part without required permits. Investigators are also examining claims that enforcement was avoided against those properties, allegedly due to his public position and connections within the local authority.

As part of the transition to an open investigation, searches were conducted at his home, the council offices, and other locations, and additional senior officials in the local authority were summoned for questioning. Police emphasize that the investigation is in its early stages and that all suspicions have yet to be examined in court. At this stage, no request has been filed to extend Asraf’s detention.

Ariana Grande Donates to Gaza Relief Fund

Ariana Grande, currently on tour across the U.S., recently launched her relief fund ‘Brighter Days Ahead Foundation’—and donated an ’emergency grant’ to Save the Children UK, an organization that openly transfers funds to Gazan civilians. The organization published a thank-you message to the singer on social media, stating unequivocally that the money will go directly ‘to children and families in Gaza.’

The organization, which provides financial aid, hygiene services, health care and more, seized the opportunity to thank the singer online: “We are grateful to have been selected by Ariana Grande’s foundation to receive an emergency grant from the support fund.” The charity has published ongoing reports on ‘the devastating impact of the conflict on Palestinian children.’

While the donation amount wasn’t disclosed, the organization claimed that with such funds they’ve already provided 183,459 children with financial aid, 83,000 children with health and nutrition support, and 11,357 children with educational programs.

    Years of Consistency

The donation didn’t come out of nowhere—Grande has been consistent on this issue for years. In May 2024, she shared a donation link to the ‘Palestine’ Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) on Instagram—causing an immediate surge of tens of thousands of dollars within minutes. Ultimately, she raised over $801,000 through January 2026.

Additionally, she signed the Artists4Ceasefire letter calling for an immediate ceasefire, alongside pro-‘Palestinian’ artists Dua Lipa, Drake and others—and declared on her Instagram account that “the Israeli government is crossing the red line.” The singer has repeatedly called for a ceasefire herself and falsely accused the State of Israel of ‘starvation in Gaza.’ She has also shared and liked posts accusing Israel of ‘genocide.’

Bill to Cancel Disengagement Law Heads to Committee

Twenty-one years after the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and northern Samaria, a bill to repeal the Gaza disengagement law will be submitted Sunday to the Ministerial Committee for Legislation. Knesset Member Tzvi Sukkot will lead and submit the historic national bill, aimed at canceling existing restrictions and once again allowing Jews to enter parts of the territory in the Gaza Strip.

The move seeks to deliver historical justice and erase from the books one of the most painful wrongs etched into national memory. After last year’s completion of the historic repeal of the disengagement law in northern Samaria—which brought Israelis back to Homesh—the bill’s sponsors now want to apply the long-awaited correction to Gaza Strip territory as well.

The major test for the initiative will come early this week, when Justice Minister Yariv Levin, who chairs the Ministerial Committee for Legislation, must decide whether to approve advancing the bill and grant it government support. Political sources estimate the bill is likely to win broad backing from the right-wing camp, which views canceling the expulsion decrees as a top moral and national duty, especially at this time.

The bill’s sponsors emphasize this is an overdue historical correction that makes clear to the entire world that parts of the homeland are not up for transfer, and that the time has come to fix past mistakes with heads held high. The decision to bring up the bill now marks a new stage in the national struggle over the future of the Gaza region and the return of a Jewish presence to the territory from which thousands of Israelis were uprooted that painful summer.

Netanyahu, Katz Clarify IDF Rules of Engagement

Following the report on Channel 14: Amid criticism regarding the tying of our fighters’ hands on the battlefield in Lebanon, a security consultation was held a last night (Monday) with the participation of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, the IDF Chief of Staff, and the Commander of the Northern Command.

The statement from the political and security echelon indicated that the IDF will continue to operate to thwart threats directed at IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens. Special emphasis was placed on the continued destruction of terrorist infrastructure and maintaining the security zone in southern Lebanon.

The announcement comes after a senior political official stated earlier yesterday in a conversation with C14 that the political echelon is working to change the situation. In his remarks, he stated that the political establishment will coordinate directly with the military command to ensure that the Cabinet’s directives are sharpened and understood down to the last fighter in the field.

According to the clarification, the rules of engagement will be redefined in a clear and binding manner. Fighters will receive authorization to strike any terrorist identified within the area designated as the “yellow zone.”

Additionally, the political official clarified that the new directives allow fighters to respond even beyond the borders of this area in any case where a clear threat to our forces is identified.

As a reminder, the IDF published last week the map of the security zone in southern Lebanon where our forces are operating as part of operational activity. According to the IDF, forces are deployed in the security zone, which extends up to approximately 10 kilometers inside Lebanese territory.
