Mossad to Lead Gaza Emigration Initiative

At the direction of National Security Council chief Shmuel Ben Ezra, Israel’s top political leadership held urgent talks in recent days with security officials on emigration from the Gaza Strip. The meeting concluded with a decision to assign the Mossad, headed by Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman, to lead implementation of the plan, while approving dedicated funding to advance the initiative.

Political sources involved in the details point to the recently signed memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran as opening a significant window for a broader regional agreement that includes Gaza emigration. While several issues still require resolution, officials in Jerusalem describe the progress as significant.

The current moves come against the backdrop of the Somaliland president’s visit to Israel last week. During his visit, the President held a series of working meetings with the Prime Minister, Defense Minister, Foreign Minister, and senior Mossad officials. These meetings are seen as part of the broader political initiative taking shape in recent days.

Two Teens Injured in Tel Aviv Attack, One Critical

A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded in an attack in Tel Aviv on Sunday and was rushed to Wolfson Medical Center while medics performed CPR. A second teen, 17, suffered moderate injuries in the attack.

Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency medical service, treated both victims at the scene on Ibn Rushd Street.

Senior MDA medics Yosef Kurdi and Matan Mizrahi described the scene: “We saw a boy around 15 years old, unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, with severe penetrating wounds to his body. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition as we fight for his life. At the same time, additional MDA teams that arrived at the scene treated and evacuated another teen who was moderately injured.”

Netanyahu: We Won’t Withdraw Even if US Asks Us To

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke today (Thursday) at the graduation ceremony of the combat officers’ course, and referred to the ongoing campaign in southern Lebanon and the nuclear threat of the Iranian terrorist regime. Netanyahu made it clear that our forces will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon “as long as necessary,” and that the State of Israel will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons.

He also addressed the campaign in Lebanon and set a firm line regarding the continuation of the fighting: “Even if the United States asks us to, we will not withdraw. We will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon, and we will maintain the controlled territories as long as necessary.” At the same time, during his speech, boos were heard from a person in the audience – which were quickly stopped by applause from those present.

The Prime Minister also clarified regarding the nuclear threat in Iran: “If we had not acted, they would have atomic bombs today. We will not allow Iran to develop nuclear bombs.” According to him, we learned more from the horrors of October 7 than anything else, and that throughout the entire campaign, “we turned the tables – and our persecutors became the persecuted,” and that “Israel’s fighting spirit is stronger than ever.”

Katz Warns Iran: We Will Respond With Full Force

Defense Minister Israel Katz addressed Iranian threats today (Thursday) at an officers’ graduation ceremony, responding to Tehran’s warning that “if Israel doesn’t leave Lebanon today, tomorrow it will flee.” Katz made clear: “If Tehran attacks Israel over our operations in Lebanon, or for any other reason, we will strike it with full force.”

“The IDF will remain in the security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza—indefinitely—to protect our residents and communities from jihadist elements,” he said. “We will not compromise on Israel’s supreme security interest: defending our soldiers and protecting our citizens—and we will not withdraw from the security zones.”

The defense minister emphasized that Israel’s commanders and fighters have all the backing they need to complete their mission and defend themselves and Israeli citizens. “There is one central principle guiding every decision we make: the lives of our fighters are a supreme value,” he added.

Katz concluded with a message to the young officers, saying that in light of the challenges ahead in the coming years, the IDF’s main advantage will continue to be its human capital. “The years ahead will bring new challenges, and the IDF’s strength will continue to be a decisive factor in our continued existence here and the continued prosperity of the state. Our ability to maintain this strength and even strengthen it rests, first and foremost, on our people.”

Indictments were filed Wednesday night against two ‘Palestinians’ arrested recently in separate incidents involving weapons possession and violence.

In the first case, which occurred earlier this month, police conducted a search based on intelligence from the Hetz Yehuda unit at the home of a ‘Palestinian’ resident of Bethlehem, around 40 years old. Hamas Scrambles to Stop Gaza’s Day of Rage

Gazan social media activists opposing Hamas are calling for a “Day of Rage” on Friday—mass protests against the terror organization across the Strip, dubbing their movement the “June 26 Revolution.” The demonstrations are fueled by residents’ anger at Hamas over harsh living conditions in refugee tent camps and the group’s inability to improve Gazans’ quality of life.

    Photo: Flash90

Yesterday we aired an extensive report on the issue in the channel’s main newscast, interviewing one of the protest organizers. To learn more about the nature of the organizing effort, we reached out to Hossam al-Astal, an activist with an anti-Hamas militia from Khan Younis known to have received assistance from Israel.

Al-Astal says the anti-Hamas militias in the Strip aren’t connected to the protests but hope they succeed. “We hope people will take to the streets, but I’ll tell you honestly—Hamas is trying to sabotage this thing. Hamas is creating problems for people and claiming the IDF is targeting protesters. Hamas claims the protest organizers live inside the Yellow Line,” he said.

    Photo: Flash90

According to al-Astal, Hamas is running a fear campaign against the planned protest: “Hamas is trying to create chaos so people won’t come out to demonstrate, and to create the impression that the people who’ll participate in the protests are bad people.”

After months of quiet complaints and anger on social media, tomorrow will reveal whether the protest against Hamas stays behind the keyboard or takes to the streets.

  • Iran: Israel will Leave Lebanon Today or Flee Tomorrow

Iran: Israel will Leave Lebanon Today or Flee Tomorrow

The diplomatic talks in Washington for an arrangement on the northern border are reaching a critical point, and the Iranian-led axis is trying to raise the tone in order to dictate the conditions on the ground and create a false impression of victory. The commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Esmail Qaani, issued a direct and harsh threat to Jerusalem today (Thursday), and issued a public ultimatum regarding the continued presence of IDF forces inside Lebanese territory.

In a belligerent statement published in Iranian state media and intended to create psychological pressure, the commander of Iran’s top unit sent a strong and unequivocal message to Israel: “You must leave Lebanon altogether. This land is a field of steadfastness and resistance, not a playground for occupiers.” Qaani continued to warn of the consequences of the continued presence of IDF forces across the border: “If you do not leave Lebanon today of your own free will, you will be forced tomorrow to flee in shame and humiliating defeat.”

Tehran is trying to exploit the diplomatic discourse surrounding possible changes in the deployment of forces in the buffer zone to present any Israeli movement on the ground as a surrender and a clear victory for Iran and its proxies. These direct threats come with precise timing, as part of a premeditated Iranian attempt to influence the renewed diplomatic negotiations in Washington between delegations from Israel and Lebanon, mediated by the United States.

    Photo: IDF Spokesperson

As part of these talks, the possibility of a minor and controlled withdrawal of the IDF from a limited area in southern Lebanon is being examined in favor of the entry of the Lebanese army. Our political correspondent Tamir Morag clarifies that this is a security pilot arrangement conceived by former Minister Ron Dermer in the small cabinet long before the US-Iran agreements, and without any connection to them. The purpose of the program, the details of which were also revealed by the Reuters news agency, is to test in practice whether Lebanese army forces — after undergoing background checks and training in the United States to ensure they are not linked to Hezbollah — are capable of keeping the area free of terrorist cells over the long term.

In parallel with the political negotiations, the IDF continues intense activity in the field to locate and destroy Hezbollah’s complex underground networks in southern Lebanon. The IDF makes it clear that exposing these headquarters and weapons depots and their complete destruction are a central and uncompromising condition for any future change in the deployment of forces in the region, and that fighting will continue solely according to operational and security considerations of the State of Israel.

Bennett Caught Red-Handed: “A Liar Stays a Liar”

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett sparked a social media firestorm Wednesday night after posting about being stuck in traffic during ultra-Orthodox protests—but users quickly caught him in what appeared to be a fabricated timeline.

Bennett, who heads the Yachad party, tweeted at 5:03 PM that he was stuck in traffic with his family for two and a half hours. “Right now, with my family, two and a half hours in traffic. About to go live on Channel B. I have a lot to say to the people of Israel. Listen up,” he wrote on X.

But users were quick to point out that the math didn’t work. The ultra-Orthodox vehicle convoys only started around 4:00 PM—meaning Bennett would have had to be stuck in traffic before the protests even began.

The responses came fast and harsh. Yaki Adamker, a panelist on ‘The Patriots,’ wrote: “Bennett tweeted just an hour after the convoy left the ultra-Orthodox cities around the country. The main thing is two and a half hours in traffic. What an embarrassing man.” Avraham Greenzweig also called out Bennett: “A liar always stays a liar. The vehicle convoys left at 4:00 PM, but you’ve been in traffic since 2:30 PM.”

Another user tweeted: “According to your calculation, you got stuck in traffic before it even formed. A liar stays a liar, at least sync your clock with reality! Torah Lachima also joined in, questioning the timeline: “How two and a half hours in traffic? The demonstrations didn’t start at 3:00 PM.”
