Indictments were filed Wednesday night against two ‘Palestinians’ arrested recently in separate incidents involving weapons possession and violence.
In the first case, which occurred earlier this month, police conducted a search based on intelligence from the Hetz Yehuda unit at the home of a ‘Palestinian’ resident of Bethlehem, around 40 years old. During the search, an MP5 submachine gun and additional weapons equipment were seized from his home.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. His detention was extended to allow investigators to complete their work, and the indictment was filed Wednesday night charging him with carrying, possessing, and manufacturing weapons.

In the second case, which occurred in recent days, an IDF soldier filed a complaint that he was attacked near Elkarn Farm in Gush Etzion by a 52-year-old ‘Palestinian’ resident of Beit Ummar. The suspect was arrested at the scene and taken for police questioning. During the investigation, evidence was gathered regarding his violent actions, leading to the filing of an indictment.
