A new Channel 14 poll released Wednesday evening shows a stable political landscape, with the right-wing bloc continuing to hold a majority of 62 seats. According to the survey, Likud under Benjamin Netanyahu maintains its strength with 32 seats and remains Israel’s largest party. The center-left bloc stands at 47 seats, while the Arab parties collectively strengthen to 11 seats.
1+In the opposition camp, there’s a slight shift in the balance of power. Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party drops one seat to 22, while the Naftali Bennett-Yair Lapid joint party remains at seven seats. The Democrats and Shas each receive ten seats, United Torah Judaism and Yisrael Beiteinu each get eight seats, Otzma Yehudit receives seven seats, Hadash-Ta’al gets six seats, while Religious Zionism and Ra’am each receive five seats.
1+On the question of suitability for the prime minister’s office, Benjamin Netanyahu continues to lead by a significant margin with 51% public support. His main rival in the poll, Gadi Eisenkot, receives 37% support. Naftali Bennett gets six percent support, Avigdor Lieberman five percent, while Benny Gantz receives just one percent support.
In this poll as well, several parties fail to cross the electoral threshold. Yoaz Hendel and Zvi Troper’s Israeli Foundations party gets 2.1%, Balad also stands at 2.1%, Moshe Feiglin’s Zehut party receives 1.3%, and Blue and White gets just 1.1%.
