‘Palestinian’ Teen Arrested After Trying to Stab a Soldier

A 16-year-old ‘Palestinian’ from the village of Nahalin was arrested over the weekend after confessing he planned to carry out a deadly attack, stab a soldier, and “end his life as a martyr.” His interrogation is ongoing and police are expected to request an extension of his detention.

According to police, they received a report of an attempted infiltration by a ‘Palestinian’ terrorist into the settlement of Neve Daniel in Gush Etzion. He was caught by the settlement’s security coordinator and a military force, and claimed to them that he was thirsty and looking for water. When suspicion arose, he was arrested and taken to the station for further interrogation.

During his interrogation, he admitted he intended to attack an IDF soldier who crossed his path, with the intention of ending his life and dying as a “martyr.” In addition, as part of the investigation, he led forces along the route where he planned to carry out the attack and reenacted his steps.

He also led officers to the location where he hid a knife to carry out the attack. In a search of the area, under a metal bench, a kitchen knife several centimeters long was found, which he had taken from his home kitchen.

This is not an isolated incident—just days earlier, another terrorist tried to carry out a deadly attack in the Jerusalem area while armed with a knife. Forces on the scene opened fire at the suspect’s lower body, neutralizing him and leading to his immediate arrest, with no casualties among our forces.

Israel Approves Over $300M for Roads in Judea & Samaria

After two months of professional work at the administration regulating civil services in Judea and Samaria, the government approved Tuesday a massive budget led by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich totaling over 1 billion shekels (~$275 million) to pave access roads and security routes to dozens of new settlements the cabinet authorized throughout the war. Among them are four communities evacuated from northern Samaria: Homesh, Sa-Nur, Ganim and Kadim, along with a broad array of communities to be established.

The decision aims to address the immediate need for safe and secure access roads, which cannot be funded through the regular channels of development costs as part of land marketing. It follows a detailed multi-year plan developed through professional staff work by the Transportation Ministry, in coordination with the administration in the Defense Ministry and the Finance Ministry. The total sum of the decision is 1,075,000,000 shekels to be transferred to the Transportation and Defense ministries.

Finance Minister and Minister in the Defense Ministry Bezalel Smotrich said: “The historic decision we approved will enable the establishment of dozens of settlements at strategic points in Judea and Samaria. We are leading a settlement-security revolution, with over 100 settlements and 160 farms that fortify Israel’s security and will kill the terrible idea of establishing a terror state in the heart of the State of Israel.”

According to the minister, “Facing the Eisenkot government’s plans to evacuate the new communities we established, the multi-year plan we are advancing will ensure planning and paving of new access roads, upgrading existing routes and connecting between communities, alongside integrating critical security components. We are working decisively together with all ministries to remove obstacles and obtain the required approvals to ensure safe and orderly movement in the new communities.”

The budget is spread over three years and will include planning and paving new access roads and improving existing roads, including segments outside the settlements connecting between different settlements as needed. For communities in Judea and Samaria, the plan will also include built-in security components, and if the government decides to establish or regularize additional new communities in Judea and Samaria, they will be automatically included in this program.

Security Chief Accused of “Abuse and Persecution” of Jews

A political firestorm is brewing over Central Command chief Avi Bluth’s handling of restrictions and the detention of Tal Yinon Dardik, a 28-year-old father of four. Prominent Knesset members have launched a coordinated attack on Bluth, accusing him of abusing his authority and using a “back door” to circumvent Defense Minister Israel Katz’s directive to end the use of administrative detention against Jewish residents.

MK Ariel Kellner called the situation “an intolerable reality” and demanded urgent intervention from the political leadership.

“I’m calling on the defense minister—you stopped administrative detentions, but the army is exploiting all kinds of loopholes to use administrative measures simply to remove people from their homes. This must stop. I ask for your swift intervention to end this injustice.”

After visiting Dardik in detention, MK Limor Son Har Melech also sharply criticized Bluth, accusing him of conducting “a campaign of abuse and persecution” against the farmer.

“This is an unacceptable reality: they create conditions a person cannot meet, then punish him for failing to meet them. This is not how a state governed by the rule of law operates—this is what abuse through draconian powers looks like. I’m calling on the defense minister to stop this dangerous conduct by General Bluth. We cannot allow security powers to be used to persecute citizens.”

MK Avichai Boaron expressed deep shock over Dardik’s detention conditions and called on the relevant authorities to act immediately to ensure he receives a fair trial.

“This cannot happen in a democratic state in 2026. I’m asking everyone responsible to do everything necessary to ensure his rights are fully upheld—he should have the opportunity to stand trial, face criminal proceedings, and receive all the rights afforded to every person in Israel. It cannot be that someone with a kippah and long sidelocks is subjected to such harsh, draconian detention under such extreme conditions.”

MK Zvi Sukkot also condemned Dardik’s detention, arguing that the use of administrative measures against civilians is fundamentally improper.

“Administrative orders of any kind against citizens are an anti-democratic tool that has no place in a proper state except in the most exceptional cases as part of the war on terror. The widespread use of administrative orders over many years against right-wing activists—while no comparable administrative tools are used against crime families in Israel—is a crying injustice and an example of selective enforcement.”

MK Tally Gotliv | Photo: Yonatan Sindel, Flash90

MK Tally Gotliv also criticized the Shin Bet’s Jewish Division and Bluth.

“The defense minister canceled administrative detentions of Jews, but through the back door, Central Command chief Bluth is making draconian use of his authority by readily imposing house arrests in other locations. This is a slippery slope. What does the command have against the Jewish public in Judea and Samaria? How easily human rights are being trampled.”

Dardik, who is represented by attorneys from the Honenu legal aid organization, was initially placed under a restrictive administrative order requiring him to spend several months under full house arrest at his mother-in-law’s home—a widowed, deaf woman who was entirely unable to accommodate him. According to his attorneys, the security authorities never consulted her or obtained her consent before imposing the detention conditions.

Dardik argued that the restrictions made it impossible for him to maintain his religious lifestyle and requested an alternative location, but his request was denied.

After he was unable to comply with the conditions of the order, he was arrested for allegedly violating a lawful order. According to his attorneys, he is now being held in detention without a fixed end date, without disclosure of the evidence against him, and without criminal charges or a trial. Upon entering detention, Dardik began a hunger strike, which he later escalated into a thirst strike.

Ben Gurion Under Strain Amid U.S. Military Aircraft Surge

Against the backdrop of escalating security tensions and U.S. strikes in Iran, one issue back in the spotlight is the large number of U.S. military aircraft parked at Ben Gurion Airport. Israel’s Transport Ministry is working to prevent the occupation of gates needed by commercial airlines, which could disrupt flight schedules and airport operations. Transport Minister Miri Regev has ordered a reduction in the number of military aircraft at the airport, declaring: “Not a single plane ticket will be canceled.”

    Photo: Yossi Aloni/Flash90

Regev has ordered a freeze on approvals for additional U.S. refueling aircraft to land at Ben Gurion and instructed officials to examine alternative airfields. According to current data, 29 U.S. military aircraft are currently parked at the airport, with four more recently added.

According to sources involved in the matter, the goal is to gradually reduce the number of U.S. military aircraft parked at Ben Gurion to around 20—a level considered manageable for maintaining normal airport operations without disrupting commercial airlines or inconveniencing passengers.

Meanwhile, Regev said she is working with all relevant parties to find a solution that will preserve normal operations at Ben Gurion even during this sensitive security period. According to her, the goal is to prevent any disruption for passengers and ensure that absolutely no flights will be canceled due to the security escalation.

The move comes at a time when Ben Gurion is experiencing a significant recovery, with more foreign airlines resuming flights to Israel, Terminal 1 reopened for international travel, and passenger traffic on the rise. The Transport Ministry hopes to prevent a shortage of aircraft parking positions from undermining the aviation sector’s recovery momentum.

As regional tensions remain high, further adjustments cannot be ruled out as authorities work to keep Ben Gurion operating without disruption.

  • Violent Arab Mob Attacks Jewish Pilgrims at Biblical Tomb

Violent Arab Mob Attacks Jewish Pilgrims at Biblical Tomb

According to our reporter Yehuda Aharoni, early this morning (Tuesday) at around 3:00 a.m., two buses carrying dozens of ‘Shuvu Banim’ Hasidim (followers of Rabbi Berland) traveled to the village of Kifl Haris, to pray at the traditional burial sites of the biblical heroes Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh.

However, the peaceful visit took a violent turn as participants left the tomb compound, when dozens of village residents began hurling stones at them, and shouting “Allahu Akbar,” along with curses and insults.

Aharoni reported that one participant told him, “Because most of us are military deserters, we hesitated to call the police or security forces, fearing they would arrest us for desertion.” Two participants were injured in the attack: one was seriously wounded and taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he is undergoing emergency surgery. A second person sustained minor injuries.

On their way back to Jerusalem, security forces at the Hizma checkpoint detained five passengers. Four were released a short time later, while the fifth was transferred to the Military Police after authorities discovered he was wanted for military desertion.

Despite the difficult night and the injuries, participants say they have no intention of giving up. Another participant told Aharoni, “We will not rest or relent until the State of Israel understands that this site belongs to us!” He added, “Let me tell you, we’re going back there tonight in full force!”

  • Noa Argamani Returns to Moment That Changed Her Life

Noa Argamani Returns to Moment That Changed Her Life

Hostage survivor Noa Argamani recently attended a ceremony marking 50 years since Operation Entebbe, drawing a chilling comparison between the decades-old mission and the one that freed her from captivity: “Almost 50 years separate Operation Entebbe from Operation Arnon, but that’s just time.” Despite changes in technology and tactics over the years, she said, “the value remains the same—the knowledge that the State of Israel doesn’t give up on its people, even when the mission seems almost impossible.”

A particularly moving moment came when Fighter A—who took part in the operation that rescued her—sat beside her on the panel. “I remember the first moment it hit me that we were on our way out. One of the fighters just hugged me and shielded me with his entire body. I felt what a warm, loving hug was—something I hadn’t felt in such a long time after a period when I was alone,” she recalled.

The first question she asked, she said, was whether her mother Liora, of blessed memory, was still alive. “Throughout the entire period I didn’t know anything. When they told me we were now on our way home and I could see her—it was something I couldn’t process. A split second before, it seemed so far away,” she added.

    Image
Photo from Noa Argamani’s X page

She went on to share some of what she felt during the hardest period of her life: “For 246 days I counted every day, every minute, and every second until the moment I could return home and reunite with my family. ‘Noa, we came to take you home’—that’s a sentence that will always be etched in my memory, the moment I saw light for the first time after a long period of darkness.”

Argamani took the opportunity to express pride: “The greatest strength of the IDF and the State of Israel isn’t just the ability to defeat enemies, but the unwavering commitment to bring its people home. That’s the legacy connecting Entebbe to Operation Arnon, and I hope it will also be the legacy that continues to guide the coming generations.” She concluded by emphasizing that the hardest decisions are also the ones that define who we are as a people.

  • Arab Media Launches Campaign to Oust Netanyahu

Arab Media Launches Campaign to Oust Netanyahu

While Israelis prepare to vote in Knesset elections on October 27, 2026, enemies from outside have already launched an attack. Not with missiles or terror this time, but with the new weapons of the 21st century: crude, venomous propaganda aimed at toppling right-wing rule in Israel with one single goal—to remove Benjamin Netanyahu from power through the Israeli ballot box. This article reviews propaganda from Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia that began just in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, right after the election date was announced, it became clear that Arab media doesn’t intend to stay on the sidelines. In strange timing, it launched a coordinated, open campaign that presented Israel’s prime minister as the last obstacle to peace, normalization, and “stability” in the region. This is no longer coverage. This is a direct and blatant attempt to interfere in the democratic elections of a sovereign state.

Egypt Mobilizes for the Left and Against Netanyahu

Egyptian broadcaster Nashat al-Dihi on his daily program yesterday sent a message to the people of Israel and told them: “Wake up from your sleep if you want peace, prosperity, and security stability—I demand that you not vote for Netanyahu.” More than that, he demanded several times without mincing words to topple Netanyahu’s government. In addition, with utter audacity, he defined ousting the prime minister as a “national duty.” Later, the broadcaster descended to a low level and called Israel’s prime minister a murderer and criminal. At the end of his broadcast, the broadcaster threatened that if the people of Israel still want Netanyahu, then forget about peace with Egypt. Attached is part of the video, courtesy of Hadassah Express.

    Photo: Al-Jazeera

Al Jazeera also stormed into the battle and published an article headlined “After Setting the Election Date, Who Are the Prominent Candidates Against Netanyahu?” The article doesn’t settle for reporting. It defines the election as a referendum on Netanyahu’s policies since October 7, 2023—policies that according to them caused deep divisions in Israel. The Al Jazeera network somehow determined that most Israelis prefer that Netanyahu not remain in power.

The message is clear and dangerous: Netanyahu is weak, unreliable, and Israelis themselves already want him out of the Prime Minister’s Office. This isn’t journalism—this is propaganda aimed at sowing despair and trying to influence the Israeli voter.

Al Arabiya Joins the Campaign: “Netanyahu in Crisis—His Calculations Are Getting Confused”

Al Arabiya didn’t stay behind either. On July 12, it published an article describing Netanyahu as facing the toughest test since his return to power. The article emphasizes what it calls “the crisis in Likud,” Netanyahu’s threat to run with an independent list, and his declining popularity in polls. The tone is not neutral and far from reality. Between the lines, the Saudis are broadcasting: Netanyahu is losing control, and the Israeli political system is already “getting confused” because of him.

This campaign is neither accidental nor innocent—it’s designed to help the left in Israel. It combines well-funded Arab media, secret diplomatic messages, and perfect timing right after the election date was set. The goal is clear: to create internal pressure in Israel, to present Netanyahu as an “obstacle to peace,” and to encourage Israeli voters to choose an alternative, even if it weakens the State of Israel militarily and politically.

    קלפי בחירות
    Photo: Shutterstock

They don’t need to invade. They just need Israelis themselves to topple Netanyahu, and that’s exactly what they’re trying to do now, through screens and headlines. And if Netanyahu isn’t elected, the path to a Palestinian state is short. The Arabs know very well what the Israeli left’s position is, what Lapid himself said at the UN—that he supports a Palestinian state. The positions of Bennett and Eisenkot are also known among the Arab world—almost every day they quote them to attack the right and the prime minister.

The central question is whether Israelis understand that this is no longer just an election. This is a war over our very existence and not just over Israeli democracy—and this time the enemy is using venomous propaganda against us instead of terror and missiles or tanks. Therefore, the insights must be identical and the message unified. On election day, we will all go to the polls and vote for the right and for Prime Minister Netanyahu.

IDF Kills Smuggler Helping Rebuild Hamas Military Wing

Israeli forces struck southern Gaza yesterday (Sunday) and killed Mustafa Oweisi, a merchant who attempted to smuggle military equipment into the Gaza Strip. During the war, Awizi smuggled weapons into Gaza, and recently continued attempts to smuggle additional military equipment aimed at rebuilding Hamas’s military wing—violating the ceasefire agreement.

The military equipment he tried to smuggle was intended for Hamas’s naval and aerial operations. The IDF said in a statement: “IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.”

In a separate operation, Israeli forces killed two Hamas operatives in airstrikes who posed an immediate threat to troops in northern Gaza. Among those killed: Hassan Mustafa Zahir al-Razina, who attempted to plant explosives near the Yellow Line, and Mohammad Mahmoud Abd al-Mu’ti Fayyoumi, a Nukhba operative who advanced terror plots against Israeli forces.

Shots Fired at Herzliya Restaurant, No Injuries Reported

Police opened an investigation this morning (Tuesday) into a suspected shooting incident targeting a Japanika restaurant in the city of Herzliya. According to the police statement, there were no casualties in the incident, but upon the officers’ arrival at the scene, apparent bullet marks were located on the business’s storefront window.

Officers from the Glilot station in the Yarkon district, along with forensic investigators, cordoned off the scene and began gathering evidence and conducting investigative activities. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.

The incident in Herzliya joins a series of attacks against branches of the Japanika chain in recent days. On the night between Monday and Tuesday, two other branches of the chain—in Netanya and Afula—were attacked within a short period of time. In both cases, there were no casualties, but property damage was caused.

In Netanya, a fire broke out at the chain’s branch on Giborei Israel Street, after a stolen military munition item was suspected to have been thrown at the establishment. Police and firefighting forces were dispatched to the scene, and an initial investigation indicated that the background to the incident is criminal, as part of an ongoing conflict between criminals.

Subsequently, a report was received regarding the sound of an explosion heard in the Afula industrial zone. Police officers who arrived at the scene located the city’s Japanika branch, at which a grenade had been thrown. In this case as well, a suspected criminal motive is being investigated.

This past Saturday night, criminals fired shots at a Japanika branch in Ra’anana. Police suspect that in response, grenades were thrown at the wholesale market in the Rishon LeZion area, which is allegedly linked to the Musli brothers.

As revealed by our reporter Ariel Idan, some of the chain’s branches in the Tel Aviv area are connected in one way or another to the Jarushi crime organization. Standing against them are the brothers Yossi and Eli Musli, senior leaders of the Musli crime organization, which is locked in a conflict with the Jarushi organization led by Ismail Jarushi.

In recent days, the confrontation between the two crime organizations has intensified, and as part of it, branches of the Japanika chain have become targets for repeated attacks, causing heavy damage to property. The police are continuing to investigate the sequence of events and the possible connection between them.

230 French Jews Land in Israel as Summer Wave Continues

230 new immigrants from France landed in Israel on Monday in four flights organized by the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption, part of the summer 2026 immigration operation. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Immigration and Absorption Minister Ofir Sofer, and dozens of Bnei Akiva youth movement members greeted the arrivals at Ben Gurion Airport. The summer 2026 immigration operation is expected to bring thousands of new immigrants to Israel from countries around the world during the summer months, many of them families with children seeking to settle in before the school year begins.

Ministry of Immigration and Absorption data shows that since October 7, more than 67,100 new immigrants have arrived in Israel from countries worldwide. France continues to be one of the main source countries for immigration, with a sharp increase in recent years. According to the figures, 1,097 immigrants came from France in 2023, the number doubled to 2,234 in 2024, and 2025 saw another jump to 3,357 new immigrants—a more than 200 percent increase within two years. The trend is continuing in 2026, with roughly 800 immigrants from France arriving so far, compared to about 690 in the same period last year. In total, more than 6,500 immigrants from France have arrived since October 7.

    Photo: Yonatan Sindel, Flash 90

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich welcomed the immigrants, saying: “We receive our dear brothers immigrating from France with blessing and excitement. The people of Israel is returning to its land and fulfilling with its own hands the vision of the end of days with a strong economy and a thriving state. The Finance Ministry under my leadership is providing immigrants with everything needed to give them a full absorption package and a smooth landing.”

Immigration and Absorption Minister Ofir Sofer added: “I welcome our French Jewish brothers who continue to immigrate to Israel. The desire of Jews to be part of the Zionist story, together with the processes we led in the ministry and the infrastructure we built to encourage immigration from Western countries, are bringing more and more immigrants to choose Israel as their home. The immigrants strengthen the economy, the health system, academia, and the security establishment. I call on Israeli citizens to welcome them, help them integrate into the community, and be partners in their successful absorption.”
