Maoz made clear: “Only full Israeli sovereignty over our ancestral heritage in Judea and Samaria will cut off their dream of establishing a terror state in the heart of the country.”

Maoz added: “I’m calling on all my colleagues in the right-wing parties to commit right now: immediately after the elections, we’ll pass my sovereignty law over Judea and Samaria.”

Abbas Demands ‘Palestinian’ State Recognition After Exposé

At Ra’am’s national convention in Tayibe, party chairman Mansour Abbas declared he is demanding Israel and the United States recognize a ‘Palestinian’ state and work to end what he calls “the occupation.” Alongside this demand, Abbas made clear his party wants to return to a position of influence within the Israeli coalition. “The State of Palestine exists, and most of the world recognizes it except the United States and Israel,” Abbas said. “We want them to recognize it too, and we are working to achieve peace, reconciliation, and an end to the occupation and the conflict.”

The public declaration connects directly to what was revealed in Channel 14 correspondent Omri Haim’s investigative series “Mansour Abbas – Polite Jihad.” The investigation exposed that behind the civil discourse about budgets and equality stands a Palestinian nationalist worldview seeking to exploit Israel’s decision-making centers. The series presented recordings and documentation in which Abbas calls Israel “the Zionist enemy,” claims Jews have no rights to the Temple Mount or Western Wall, defines Hamas as “brothers,” and calls for the “liberation” of mosques and lands.

The investigation also revealed the ideological connection between the southern branch of the Islamic Movement and the global Muslim Brotherhood, alongside economic and personal ties between Ra’am officials and Islamic Movement associations that maintained connections with terror organizations including Hamas. The method exposed is wrapping nationalist ideas in the guise of innocent civil struggles over budgets and cost of living, in order to integrate into power centers and erode the state’s Jewish identity from within.

At the Tayibe convention, Ra’am faction chairman Walid Taha also made clear the party won’t settle for demands alone but is working politically “to impose the solutions.” These words take on significance heading into elections, when Ra’am could again become the kingmaker and give the left bloc the majority to form a government. Abbas himself emphasized in his remarks that the integration of an Arab party in the coalition has now become “a political reality that is seriously on the table.”

  • Terror Kites Land in Israel as World Debates Gaza Rebuild

Terror Kites Land in Israel as World Debates Gaza Rebuild

While the world debates bringing an international force into Gaza and advancing steps by the Peace Council to reconstruct the Strip, Hamas appears to be digging in and deploying dangerous weapons. Over the weekend, no fewer than four terror kites landed in Israeli territory after being launched by the terror group from Gaza.

    Dario Sanchez, Flash90

“Yesterday a kite was identified near Kibbutz Nahal Oz,” the IDF said. “During sweeps by forces in the area this morning, three more were identified.” According to the military, no suspicious materials were found on the kites. “According to assessments, the kites crossed the border from Gaza Strip territory.” The IDF added that at no point was there any danger to the public, “The IDF continues to maintain constant contact with the communities.”

As a reminder, the Prime Minister’s Office announced last Thursday that the political echelon did not approve the entry of an international force into Gaza, contrary to reports on the matter. The statement said Israel made clear there would be no reconstruction of any kind in the Strip before Hamas is completely disarmed.

A political source added details about the cabinet decision on the international stabilization force in Gaza, clarifying that the approval in principle for the force’s entry was set within the framework of President Trump’s 20-point plan, which led to the release of all the hostages. According to the source, Israel insists that the IDF will continue to hold the Yellow Line, and there will be no withdrawal of any kind as long as Hamas has not been disarmed and the Strip has not been fully demilitarized.

According to the source, the cabinet approved granting immunity to the ISF under the “Immunities for International Organizations” law, with the force operating in full coordination with the IDF in areas beyond the Yellow Line, in territory not under IDF control. It was also determined that any entry of ISF forces will require individual approval from the prime minister, defense minister, and foreign minister, and that Israel will approve which countries can send forces. At this stage, only about 200 representatives from friendly countries are involved, including Uganda and Morocco.

The aid joins the work of a joint Foreign Ministry and Home Front Command delegation of about 80 rescue and medical personnel. The team arrived in Colombia about a week ago and is operating in the country as part of efforts to help deal with the earthquake’s aftermath.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said: “Israel will continue to stand alongside its friend Colombia and the Colombian people and will help them to the best of its ability.”

IDF Eliminates Terrorist Who Reconstructed Hamas Tunnels

The IDF announced it killed Sharif al-Hasanat earlier today (Saturday) in the Deir al-Balah area. Al-Hasanat was a terrorist ‘company commander’ in the Deir al-Balah Battalion of Hamas’s military wing. Throughout the war, he led efforts to rebuild Hamas’s underground tunnel infrastructure.

In recent weeks, the IDF said, he continued advancing terror plots against Israeli forces and Israeli civilians. The military added that al-Hasanat posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces and was therefore eliminated. An IDF spokesperson said: “Our forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement, and will continue to act to remove any threat.”

Kfir Brigade troops identified several suspects who crossed the security perimeter near the village of Baraachit in Lebanon and entered a building, the IDF said. According to the military, their actions posed a threat to Israeli forces operating in the area.

The Israeli Air Force subsequently struck the building under the direction of troops on the ground. The IDF emphasized that it will continue acting to eliminate immediate threats to its forces while remaining committed to the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.

  • Erdoğan Moves to Make Netanyahu a ‘Wanted Man’ by Interpol

Erdoğan Moves to Make Netanyahu a ‘Wanted Man’ by Interpol

The confrontation between Israel and Turkey escalated today (Friday) as Turkish Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that Ankara has taken steps to advance Interpol Red Notices against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Afik Moskovitz as part of proceedings in Istanbul stemming from Israel’s interception of activists aboard the Global Sumud flotilla. The legal process began last month, but the public announcement comes just days after Israel struck a military base in Syria amid concerns over a potential Turkish deployment there—and following increasingly sharp warnings exchanged between Jerusalem and Ankara.

According to Gürlek, proceedings are underway at Istanbul’s 11th High Criminal Court in a case involving 35 defendants. The case centers on Israel’s operation against flotilla activists who attempted to reach the Gaza Strip carrying humanitarian aid. The development announced by the Turkish justice minister does not constitute a new arrest warrant against Netanyahu. An Istanbul court had already ordered on July 14 that an arrest warrant be issued and a request submitted for an Interpol Red Notice against the prime minister in connection with the case. Gürlek has now detailed the steps taken following that decision.

According to the minister, after arrest warrants were issued against Netanyahu and Moskovitz, Turkey’s Justice Ministry contacted the Interior Ministry to advance efforts through Interpol to have them internationally listed as wanted. Relevant documents were also transferred to the Foreign Ministry.

According to Gürlek, the two are accused in the Turkish proceedings of genocide, crimes against humanity, aggravated deprivation of liberty, intentional injury, torture, property damage, aggravated robbery and hijacking a vehicle. These are allegations made as part of the Turkish proceedings and do not constitute a final judicial determination that Netanyahu committed the alleged offenses.

Gürlek accompanied his announcement with a sharp message against the Israeli government. “We will not allow the crimes committed in Gaza to be covered up or those responsible for them to be protected by a shield of impunity,” he said. He added that Ankara would continue using national and international legal mechanisms and would stand alongside the ‘Palestinians’ under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. “We will resolutely take all necessary steps to ensure that those who commit crimes against humanity are held accountable before the law,” he added.

The timing of Turkey’s announcement is particularly notable given the events of recent days. Earlier this week, Israel struck the Abu al-Duhur airbase in northwestern Syria. According to reports, the operation was intended to prevent the possibility of Turkish forces deploying at the site. The strike damaged the runway, and no fatalities were reported.

Netanyahu later confirmed that Israel had issued a warning regarding Turkey’s military entrenchment in Syria. “We will not allow a Turkish military deployment advancing southward because it poses a threat to us,” Netanyahu said. According to Reuters, the question of a Turkish deployment had already been raised before the strike during an unusual August 14 meeting between Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Mossad chief Roman Gofman. Syria, for its part, claimed it had informed Israel before the strike that there were no plans to establish a permanent Turkish military presence at the base. The Syrian foreign minister described the Israeli operation as unjustified.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has also joined the escalating exchange, issuing a direct warning to Erdoğan. Katz warned the Turkish president against dragging his country into “dangerous adventures in Syria” and against testing Israel’s determination to defend itself.

Israel’s message is that an expanding Turkish military presence farther south in Syria constitutes a security threat that Jerusalem will not allow to materialize. Turkey has rejected Israel’s claims and its justification for the strike. Ankara argues that statements from Netanyahu’s office are intended to justify Israeli attacks in Syria, which Turkey describes as violations of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Turkey also denied that a Turkish military delegation was present at the targeted base when Israel struck.

  • Heritage Chief Says Trump’s Strikes Set Iran Back 20 Years

Heritage Chief Says Trump’s Strikes Set Iran Back 20 Years

Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts told C14’s Libi Alon that the U.S. strikes on Iran ordered by President Donald Trump have “changed the political order” of the Middle East. In an interview ahead of his first visit to Israel in October, Roberts also discussed the future of relations between Jerusalem and Washington, the rise of Jew-hatred in the United States, the midterm elections and the Trump administration’s domestic policies.

Roberts, who has served as president of the Washington-based conservative think tank since 2021, voiced support for Trump’s decision to strike Iran. He said he was “grateful” that the president ordered the operation and “hopeful and prayerful” that the conflict would end “peacefully and quickly.” Roberts argued that the strikes have had consequences reaching far beyond the battlefield, saying the war “changed the political order” of the Middle East. Citing assessments from colleagues specializing in military affairs, Roberts said the strikes had set Iran’s military program back by 15 to 20 years.

In October, Roberts is expected to make his first visit to Israel to participate in the National Conservatism Conference in Jerusalem. Yoram Hazony, a member of the Heritage Foundation’s board of trustees, is also involved in organizing the event. Roberts said the trip carries three meanings for him: It will mark his first visit to the Middle East, serve as a personal journey to the Holy Land because of his Christian faith, and provide an opportunity in Jerusalem to discuss “the future of the relationship between America and Israel.”

He said he is optimistic about the future of ties between the two countries. Another issue raised during the interview was the increase in Jew-hatred in the United States following the October 7 massacre. Roberts pointed to the Heritage Foundation’s “Project Esther,” led by Dr. Victoria Coates, saying the initiative was expanded in response to the increase in Jew-hatred since the massacre. He argued that the phenomenon is more pronounced “on the American left,” while stressing that it is not confined to one political camp and acknowledging that it has also emerged in “parts … of the right.”

Roberts was also asked about claims that he had defended conservative commentator Tucker Carlson amid accusations concerning Jew-hatred. Rather than addressing Carlson directly by name, Roberts explained the principle guiding Heritage, saying the foundation supports “open and engaged discussion” rather than attempts to prevent conversations about controversial subjects. He argued that publicly confronting Jew-hating statements is “the only way … to highlight the evil” contained within them.

Roberts also addressed the war’s impact on American politics ahead of November’s midterm elections. He said the conflict currently represents “a burden on the midterms,” but predicted that Trump could arrive at the Republican convention in Dallas and present his handling of Iran as “a great accomplishment.” Despite the challenges, Roberts predicted a conservative victory in November. Among other factors, he pointed to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s fundraising, which he said has reached approximately $400 million.

The interview also touched on U.S. domestic policy, where Roberts cited Israel as a positive example. He referenced a Heritage Foundation family-policy paper published in January that presented Israel as “the best example” of government policies encouraging marriage and childbirth. Roberts also discussed reductions in the federal workforce, claiming that approximately 400,000 employees have left the federal government since Trump took office.

Roberts was also asked about the possibility of Trump seeking a third White House term in 2028. He acknowledged that the U.S. Constitution limits presidents to two terms. Then, smiling, he added: “But he can win again.”

Roberts has led the Heritage Foundation, one of Washington’s most prominent conservative think tanks, since 2021. His position has made him a prominent figure in debates over the future of the American conservative movement and government policy. His planned October trip will mark his first visit to both Israel and the Middle East, centered around his participation in the National Conservatism Conference in Jerusalem.

Arab Lynch Mob Attacks Jewish Hikers, Terrorist Eliminated

A group of ultra-Orthodox hikers was brutally attacked today (Friday) while hiking in eastern Gush Etzion in Judea and Samaria. According to reports from the scene, dozens of Arab rioters from the nearby village of Sa’ir descended on the group of civilians in what witnesses described as an attempted lynching. Facing what was reported as an immediate threat to their lives, the hikers urgently called security forces and emergency personnel to the area to evacuate them to safety.

A security officer and local security coordinator, who was the first to arrive in response to the emergency call, encountered the large group of rioters and began working to evacuate the hikers. According to testimony from the scene, during the rescue attempt, one of the assailants attacked the security coordinator at close range with a rock. Believing his life and the lives of the civilians at the scene were in danger, the security coordinator responded by opening fire in self-defense. Arab media subsequently reported that one assailant had been killed.

Arab media identified the man as Karim Shalaldeh, a resident of the Arab outpost of Hamrush. According to the report, just one month ago, Shalaldeh participated in an attack on Jewish shepherds, throwing stones at them while masked and armed with a club. Two shepherds were injured in that attack. Although three of his relatives were arrested, Shalaldeh himself was not. The house from which the rioters emerged is also known as a focal point for attacks against Jews. Last month, a woman documented setting fires in an open area was arrested there.

The attempted lynching comes 30 days after Capt. (res.) Benayahu Malt and Maj. Yuval Ezra were killed after rushing to assist during a similar attack in Samaria. In that incident as well, Israeli and international media quickly pointed the finger at Israeli civilians, including claims that the excursion had not been authorized, rather than demanding that the military eradicate the murderous terrorism growing amid the false campaign against Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

The IDF said Friday’s hike had not been authorized and had taken place on the outskirts of the village. Regarding a separate report of a structure fire in Baniya, the military said: “Firefighting forces operated to extinguish the blaze.” The IDF also issued a warning: “The IDF emphasizes that unauthorized hikes endanger participants and divert the efforts of forces from defense and counterterrorism missions in the sector.” Judea and Samaria District Police are currently operating at the scene alongside IDF forces, gathering evidence and testimony as part of an investigation into the incident.
