‘Palestinian’ Activist Admits She Is White and Jewish

An embarrassing and extraordinary scandal is roiling the pro-‘Palestinian’ activist community in the United States: Hannah Gunn, a veteran educator in the Philadelphia public school system and a prominent fixture in local anti-Israel campaigns who presented herself for years as a proud ‘Palestinian’, was unmasked this week for having completely fabricated her identity and heritage.

The catalyst behind the unraveling of the deception was not her political opponents, but rather her fellow pro-‘Palestinian’ activists. After confronting her for over an hour with a damning ledger of glaring inconsistencies, Gunn was forced to confess that she is, in reality, an affluent white woman of Jewish ancestry who possesses no ‘Palestinian’ or Tunisian lineage whatsoever.

Gunn, a tenth-grade teacher at The Workshop School and an active member of groups including Philly Educators for ‘Palestine’ and the Racial Justice Organizing Committee, has at various times styled herself as ‘Palestinian’, Tunisian, and Black. She was even formally presented as a “‘Palestinian’-American educator” during a 2024 educational panel addressing the war’s impact on schooling in Gaza.

Her prominent profile in local demonstrations previously made her a target of public criticism. In 2024, the watchdog organization Accuracy in Media stationed a mobile billboard truck outside her school displaying a massive photograph of Gunn wearing a keffiyeh alongside the caption: “Hannah Gunn: 10th Grade Teacher and Philadelphia’s Leading Antisemite.” However, the ground gave way beneath her when internal movement allies launched an inquiry into her background, ultimately demanding that she publicly acknowledge her Jewish lineage and family ties to Israel before formally excommunicating her from all activist spaces.

Findings from the internal inquiry published by The Philadelphia Inquirer revealed astonishing discrepancies. While Gunn had long peddled evocative narratives concerning a grandfather born in Mandatory ‘Palestine’, historical military draft registrations and naturalization records for her great-grandfather proved that the grandfather in question was born in Baltimore, Maryland—and that her family members residing outside the United States live in Israel.

Furthermore, the inquiry revealed that Gunn routinely told acquaintances she was enduring acute financial distress because she was sending financial aid to impoverished ‘Palestinian’ relatives overseas—a narrative that prompted empathetic peers to hand her personal cash donations. Gunn later conceded this was an outright fabrication, admitting she possesses substantial personal wealth.

Additional testimony from a former University of Pennsylvania peer further corroborated the elaborate fraud. The classmate recounted that during their collegiate years, Gunn was known simply as a white Jewish student with relatives in Judea and Samaria. The acquaintance noted that the dramatic transformation began after Gunn returned from a Peace Corps deployment to Rwanda, when she began deliberately darkening her skin tone through tanning and makeup while adopting speech cadences and mannerisms associated with the African American community.

Following the exposure, Gunn released both written and video confessions confirming the fraud. “I have hidden the truth or flat-out lied about my background to every person in my life,” she acknowledged on video, adding in an accompanying written statement: “I lied about my identity, and I have lied for years. I have no ‘Palestinian’ or Tunisian heritage.”

Gunn admitted that she kept the charade hidden even from her biological family. However, she claimed her political solidarity was sincere and pleaded with observers not to cast aspersions on fellow activists. Nevertheless, the organizations in which she operated issued scathing condemnations, expressing that they were “shocked, saddened, and angry,” and branding her actions an absolute betrayal of trust placed in her by ‘Palestinians’, Black communities, students, and organizers.

Background: From Anti-Israel Activist to “‘Palestinian’ Rachel Dolezal”

In recent years, Gunn consolidated a high-profile standing across Philadelphia activist circuits centered on ‘Palestinian’ advocacy. In 2024, she participated in prominent forums accusing Israel of destroying the educational ecosystem in Gaza. In December 2025, she appeared wrapped in a keffiyeh before the Philadelphia Board of Education, demanding that district authorities treat alleged anti-‘Palestinian’ racism, Islamophobia, and anti-Black racism with the same gravity accorded to antisemitism.

The bizarre revelations triggered viral mockery across social media, where commentators widely dubbed Gunn the “‘Palestinian’ Rachel Dolezal”—referencing the white activist who notoriously passed herself off as an African American woman for years. The School District of Philadelphia issued a statement acknowledging reports regarding its employee’s external activities, noting that support services are being made available to staff and students. As of publication, district officials have not announced whether Gunn will be formally terminated from her teaching post.

Massive Captagon Bust in Bethlehem Nets 170,000 Pills

A 48-year-old resident of Segev Shalom was arrested after PA forces caught him in Bethlehem Monday night carrying a massive quantity of pills suspected to be drugs and dangerous substances. Following coordination between authorities, the suspect was transferred to Israeli police at the Etzion station in the Judea district.

According to police, he was found with more than 170,000 pills suspected to be Captagon and over 17,000 Tramadol tablets. The total value of the suspected substances is estimated at over 10 million shekels. The suspect’s vehicle and the drugs were also transferred to Israeli police.

The transfer was carried out following coordination by the commander of the Bethlehem district police at the Police Coordination and Liaison Administration in the Judea and Samaria district with his counterparts in the PA. Representatives from the IDF’s Coordination and Liaison Administration also participated in the process.

Police noted that Captagon was used by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 massacre. The suspect was taken for questioning at Etzion station regarding the seized materials and on suspicion of illegally entering Area A, and is expected to be brought to court for a hearing on extending his detention.

  • Samaria Governor: Prepare for PA “Turning of Guns”

Samaria Governor: Prepare for PA “Turning of Guns”

After discovering a 25-meter-deep tunnel in Qalqilya near Kfar Saba, Samaria Governor Yossi Dagan sent an urgent letter to the Defense Minister, the IDF Chief of Staff, and the Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, warning: “Prepare for a ‘turning of guns’ scenario. The ‘Palestinian’ Authority and Hamas do not conceal their intentions for a second October 7—the tunnel is the warning.”

Dagan is demanding that defense leadership urgently formulate an operational plan addressing a scenario in which armed ‘Palestinian’ Authority security apparatuses—ostensibly serving as policing forces—turn their weaponry, capabilities, and personnel against Israel, launching raids into Samaria communities, border-seam towns, and major cities across the Sharon and central Israel in an assault mirroring October 7.

The demand follows the discovery of an excavation tunnel plunging at least 25 meters deep in Qalqilya on September 23, carried out in a joint operation by the Judea and Samaria District Police Crime Suppression Unit and Border Police forces. Alongside the primary tunnel, which was in advanced stages of digging, forces uncovered the initial excavation of a second shaft. Troops located an arms cache including an M-16 rifle, a sniper rifle, ammunition, magazines, communication devices, fertilizer used for manufacturing improvised explosive devices, and DVR recording equipment. Four suspects were apprehended on site. Rafi Saar, Mayor of neighboring Kfar Saba, addressed the discovery as a “grave incident,” underscoring that the security threat facing seam-line residents is “tangible and immediate. This is not a theoretical warning—this is an operational security reality that demands decisive action.”

    Photo: Police spokesperson

In his appeal, Dagan cautioned that alongside familiar terror organizations led by Hamas, Israel must scrutinize the military buildup of the ‘Palestinian’ Authority’s security services. According to updated figures, the PA force numbers approximately 60,000 armed personnel, including specialized formations trained in urban combat and rapid assaults, outfitted with RPGs, sniper rifles, heavy machine guns, and armored vehicles.

The apprehension is grounded in history: over the years, multiple members and officers of the ‘Palestinian’ security apparatuses have carried out or aided terror attacks against Israelis. Furthermore, Dagan argued that this military buildup occurs within a toxic political and social ecosystem fueled by official incitement, glorification of terror in schools and media, and Ramallah’s institutional policy of paying financial stipends to incarcerated terrorists and families of attackers.

    Photo: Hadas Parush/Flash90

Public sentiment in Judea and Samaria further accentuates the risk. A PCPSR poll from October 2025 indicated that 53% of respondents across Judea, Samaria, and Gaza believed Hamas’s decision to launch the October 7 assault was correct, with support reaching 59% in Judea and Samaria alone. Furthermore, 41% favored armed struggle as the primary means of confrontation.

Dagan warned against complacency, saying a sovereign state cannot assess only what an armed force is doing today, but what it could do tomorrow: “The uncovering of the tunnel in Qalqilya must trigger every red alarm across the State of Israel,” Governor Dagan said. “We are talking about a ‘Palestinian’ city sitting mere meters from Sharon communities, inside of which an advanced 25-meter deep shaft was excavated alongside sniper rifles and bomb-making materials.

“October 7 demonstrated in the harshest possible way the consequence of allowing an armed force across our border to steadily amass capabilities, training, weapons, and infrastructure over years—Hamas is the primary example. The State of Israel cannot allow itself to wake up in a few years to discover that a force of tens of thousands of armed men in the heart of Judea and Samaria, right on our doorsteps, has transformed into an army turning its gun barrels toward us.

“Therefore, I demand that the Defense Minister, the Chief of Staff, and the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman prepare an immediate counter-plan against a ‘turning of guns’ scenario—a structured operational doctrine addressing the risk of PA security services acting as a military force against Israel. We must evaluate their numbers, training, weaponry, intelligence capabilities, infrastructure, and proximity to Israeli communities and IDF bases.

“The lesson of October 7 is that you do not wait for the threat to mature fully. You identify it during its buildup and prepare the operational answer in advance. I do not want us to be told years down the line: ‘We saw the tunnels in Qalqilya, we saw the buildup, we saw the drills—but we didn’t believe they would attack.’ The State of Israel must be ready.”

Barred From U.S., Abbas Addresses UN Remotely, Attacks Israel

‘Palestinian’ Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York today (Thursday) through a prerecorded speech broadcast remotely, after the U.S. administration refused to grant him a visa to attend the gathering. Nevertheless, the UN decided to allow him to deliver his remarks remotely, despite the explicit opposition of Israel, the United States and Paraguay.

The UN General Assembly voted last week to allow Abbas to participate remotely, approving the measure by 152 votes to three, with Israel, the United States and Paraguay voting against and four countries abstaining. The decision permitted a prerecorded statement by Abbas to be played in the General Assembly Hall. During his recorded address, Abbas sharply attacked Israel, accusing it of violating international law and undermining the possibility of advancing a two-state solution. The ‘Palestinian’ Authority chairman claimed that events in Gaza and Judea and Samaria were part of what he described as a “colonial plan” intended to force ‘Palestinians’ to leave.

Abbas continued his attack by accusing Israel of waging a “genocidal war” that he claimed had created a catastrophe. Toward the end of his remarks, he turned his criticism toward the international community, demanding to know how much longer it would remain silent in the face of Israel.

The UN’s decision to provide Abbas with a platform despite the U.S. visa denial came over the objections of Israel and the United States, as well as Paraguay. Washington has accused the ‘Palestinian’ Authority of undermining peace efforts and subsidizing terrorism, while the PA has condemned the visa restrictions and argued that they violate U.S. obligations as host of the United Nations.

Israel Approves 567 New Homes in Judea and Samaria

The Higher Planning Council has officially advanced and validated plans for 567 new housing units in Judea and Samaria across two master plans in Asa’el and Beit Hagai. Under the approvals, 342 units were authorized in Asa’el, along with 225 additional units in Beit Hagai.

At the center of the decision is the town of Asa’el, where the approval of the 342-unit plan completes the formal statutory regularization of the community under official planning procedures.

Meanwhile, Beit Hagai approved a plan for 225 new housing units. The Mount Hebron Regional Council noted that the construction is expected to double the Jewish community’s footprint.

Finance Minister and Minister within the Defense Ministry Bezalel Smotrich welcomed the decision, calling it “vital news for Jewish communities in the region.” Smotrich stated: “Against an Eizenkot-Lieberman-Golan government that seeks to dismantle our communities and establish a ‘Palestinian’ state overlooking Ben Gurion Airport and Soroka Hospital, we are regularizing the town of Asa’el and doubling Beit Hagai. Not with empty talk, but with action.”

Smotrich affirmed that he will continue advancing construction and legal regularization throughout Judea and Samaria, adding: “We will continue to lead a sweeping wave of building and regularization because this land belongs to us.”

Eliram Azulay | Photo: Channel 14 News

Mount Hebron governor Eliram Azulay likewise characterized the approvals as a “historic breakthrough for Jewish communities in Mount Hebron.” Azulay noted: “The approval of 567 housing units, the regularization of the town of Asa’el, and the doubling of the Jewish community of Beit Hagai are an unequivocal response to anyone attempting to undermine our hold on the land.”

Israel Launches Manhattan Ad Blitz During UN General Assembly

Israel’s National Public Diplomacy Directorate in the Prime Minister’s Office launched a major advocacy campaign today (Thursday) in the streets of Manhattan near the UN building. Some 500 billboards, dozens of trucks, and an extensive digital push will appear before tens of world leaders who arrived from around the globe, presenting the threat posed by Iran’s terror regime and Israel’s partnership with the U.S. in the fight against the axis of evil.

The campaign was rolled out during the annual UN General Assembly gathering in New York, ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech today. It’s focused in the heart of Manhattan, the area where UN headquarters is located. The campaign messages are integrated across several different platforms: billboards on major avenues and streets including massive signage in Times Square, as well as trucks with digital screens specially rented to drive through Manhattan during the General Assembly days.

Among the campaign materials are messages presenting the strategic cooperation between Israel and the U.S. against threats to the free world. There’s also an emphasis on the Iranian nuclear threat directed at the UN, and a message aimed directly at members of the Iranian delegation to the UN Assembly, focused in the area of the hotel where delegation members are staying.

Amid expected antisemitic demonstrations against Israel, part of the campaign is also directed at protesters under the heading “Choose a Side.” The message includes two sides: one is the U.S. and Israel, representing freedom and life, while on the other side are Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah, representing terror, death and tyranny.

Netanyahu took off last night on the “Wing of Zion” plane to the U.S. for a 24-hour lightning visit, during which he’ll appear at the UN General Assembly and meet with several world leaders. During his speech, the prime minister will focus on Iran, and he’s expected to use visual aids to present Iranian capabilities that Israel is tracking but haven’t yet been revealed.

Netanyahu Set to Address UN Amid Global Scrutiny

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Thursday evening at 9:00 PM Israel time (2:00 PM EDT). Ahead of the critical speech, a tightly compressed diplomatic schedule has taken shape, featuring bilateral meetings with numerous heads of state. Due to the requirement to return to Israel before the start of the Sukkot holiday, Netanyahu was able to accommodate only a portion of the requests—including the presidents of Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Panama, and Ethiopia, the Vice President of Colombia, and the prime ministers of Greece, Slovenia, and Papua New Guinea.

The visit has also drawn intense interest because of the Prime Minister’s established tradition of turning the UNGA rostrum into a visual theater, where central geopolitical arguments are crystallized into a single indelible image. Ahead of tonight’s speech, anticipation centers on what visual medium Netanyahu will introduce—recalling his famous 2012 nuclear bomb diagram with the red marker, the 44-second silence in 2015, the unveiling of secret Iranian nuclear warehouses in 2018, the “Blessing and Curse” maps, and the lapel QR code worn on his suit jacket last year.

Channel 14 diplomatic correspondent Sharia Harush noted that the Prime Minister’s UN addresses have historically served as a primary lever to showcase Israel’s security imperatives and directly counter international condemnation. Harush emphasized that Netanyahu uses the New York podium to distill intricate diplomatic policy into unmistakable symbols that linger in global public consciousness long after debates conclude, deploying powerful visual cues to puncture hostile narratives and force Israel’s agenda into the global discourse.

Channel 14 political desk chief Mati Tuchfeld noted that Netanyahu arrives at the General Assembly this year not to court international approval, but to tear off masks. For an entire year, Tuchfeld argued, the world quietly enjoyed the fruits of decisive Israeli-American strikes against Iran—moderate Arab states breathed a sigh of relief, while Western capitals received uninterrupted oil flows free from Houthi maritime extortion and Iranian nuclear blackmail. Yet when required to explicitly identify the true aggressor, world leaders mustered only feeble whispers. Iran was battered, humiliated, and exposed, yet the same international figures who preached Israeli restraint still choose to look away.

This dynamic was on display during the opening days of the General Assembly, where leader after leader took the green marble podium to deliver homilies on humanitarianism and peace while systematically ignoring October 7—omitting the massacres, the plight of the hostages, and the slaughter of children. Choosing to coddle terrorist organizations while condemning a democracy fighting for its survival reflects an attempt to soothe domestic mobs without demonstrating moral courage. Netanyahu is expected to counter that Israel will never apologize for its defense, will not seek permission to combat those who butchered its citizens, and that those who coddle terror will ultimately see it reach their own borders.

The expected showdown follows days of harsh attacks delivered from the rostrum. Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani alleged that “what took place in Gaza is genocide,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan labeled the Strip “the world’s largest graveyard for children” while calling for unilateral Palestinian statehood, and King Abdullah II of Jordan claimed that Gaza’s destruction and de facto annexation constitute an effort to erase the Palestinian presence.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham condemned the October 7 atrocities but described Israel’s military campaigns in Gaza and Judea and Samaria as unjustified, while UN Secretary-General António Guterres briefly acknowledged October 7 before framing subsequent operations as unmatched destruction. Conversely, Argentine President Javier Milei delivered a fierce defense of Israel, blasting the UN establishment as “arrogant parasites.”

Ahead of Netanyahu’s Trip to New York: Which Ministers Will Fill His Place

During Netanyahu’s absence, power has been delegated across the cabinet: Justice Minister Yariv Levin is serving as Acting Prime Minister, while Defense Minister Israel Katz is serving as Chairman of the Ministerial Committee on National Security Affairs (the Security Cabinet), vested with authority to convene the forum and direct sensitive security discussions.

Netanyahu Heads to UN Not to Win Favor, But to Rip Off Masks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrives at the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday not to seek favor, but to tear off a few masks. For an entire year, the international community quietly reaped the benefits of the decisive Israeli-American blows dealt against Iran. Moderate Arab states breathed a sigh of relief, and Western nations secured their oil shipping lanes free from Houthi maritime extortion and Iranian nuclear blackmail. Yet when the time came to stand tall and identify the true enemy out loud, only feeble, timid squeaks were heard. A stunning display of weakness.

    Archive | Photo: Shutterstock

Iran is no longer the untouchable regional bully the world grew to fear. It was struck, humiliated, and stripped bare. And yet, the very same world leaders who spent years demanding Israeli restraint and preaching containment still prefer to shut their eyes today.

The same cowardice governs the anti-Israel attacks echoing throughout the opening days of the assembly. Leader after leader ascends the rostrum, preaching grand homilies about humanitarianism, justice, and peace, while deliberately erasing October 7 from memory. Not a single word regarding the butchery, not a syllable regarding the hostages held in captivity, not a mention of child murderers.

Netanyahu’s silence at the UN, archive | Photo: Shutterstock

Their choice is transparent: they prefer terrorist organizations over a democracy battling for its survival. They choose to coddle murderers and condemn the victim. It is easier, because it plays well to the domestic crowds in their own streets, and because moral backbone requires courage they do not possess. Netanyahu arrives at the podium to articulate what no one else in that hall dares to say: Israel will never apologize for defending itself; it will never ask for permission to fight those who slaughtered its children; and anyone who chooses to stand alongside terror should not act surprised when terror eventually arrives in their own living room.

This hypocrisy no longer works. The world has clearly seen who truly confronts the axis of evil—and who merely talks.
