Argentine President Javier Milei congratulated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Thursday) following Likud’s strong showing in the Knesset elections, expressing support for his leadership and pledging to strengthen ties between the two countries.

“Congratulations, my dear friend Benjamin Netanyahu, on the great victory of the Likud party, which has once again become the leading force in Israel,” Milei wrote in his message to the prime minister.
The Argentine president then addressed the election results against the backdrop of pre-election polls and predictions, praising Netanyahu: “You have once again proven the strength of your leadership, even in the face of polls and predictions that worked against you.”
Milei also addressed the future of relations between the two countries, making clear the alliance will endure. “Argentina and Israel will continue to be strategic allies against those who challenge our Western values,” he declared.
