Five Lebanese soldiers were lightly wounded in an explosion in the town of Kafra near Bint Jbeil, Lebanon’s army said.
The blast occurred while the military force was escorting Lebanese residents who had arrived at the town, according to the Lebanese army.
The explosion was caused by a suspicious object, the army said.Investigations are underway to determine further details.
