Vice President JD Vance responded Wednesday for the first time to the midterm election results and the Republican Party’s major defeat. Vance claimed there are four reasons Trump voters switched to Democrats this time—two of them connected to Israel.
“The four leading answers, which came up with almost all respondents, were: End the war, Focus on cost of living/inflation, Put America first, Change our relationship with Israel,” Vance said. “Our voters showed up. And these four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats.”
