Ra'am Chairman Mansour Abbas pushed back against reports that Shin Bet Director David Zini sought to interrogate Arab lawmakers over election meddling. Abbas said his faction does not fear scrutiny and is ready to appear before law enforcement under Attorney General guidelines, demanding that state bodies respect the voters' mandate.

Ra’am party leader Mansour Abbas responded to briefings about investigations into Arab party leaders: “The attempt to smear the Arab public is illegitimate. I and all Ra’am members don’t fear any investigation and are ready to appear before all law enforcement authorities, in accordance with the Attorney General’s directives and the justice system, which have proven time and again that they are subject to the law and not to other political actors.”

Abbas demanded that state authorities respect the voters’ decision and act with statesmanship and responsibility toward all citizens, and uphold the law and governmental order.
