Israeli forces operating in the village of al-Khiam in southern Lebanon discovered weapons inside a civilian home that also contained a children’s room decorated with Hezbollah symbols.
Troops from the 769th Brigade of the Galilee Division found the weapons during sweeps of the village near the Israeli border. The IDF Spokesperson announced Sunday that the findings came during operations to destroy terror infrastructure in the area.

The forces destroyed a warehouse containing explosive drones and found additional weapons, including rockets, AK-47 rifles, helmets, vests, ammunition, and explosive drones.

The IDF emphasized that its forces will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or security forces, and will continue removing threats and upholding the ceasefire agreement. The agreement with Lebanon was reached in April through American mediation and enshrines Israel’s right to defend itself against immediate threats. Israeli forces have remained deployed in southern Lebanon since then.
