Yoseph Haddad, an Israeli Arab activist and the number two candidate on the Imti Yisrael (With the People of Israel) party list, received a series of emails containing severe and explicit threats on his life, believed to originate from sources linked to Iran.
“We will cut off your fingers one by one,” one message read. Another threatened: “We will dismember your bodies.” Haddad responded to the threats: “This didn’t scare me in the past and it doesn’t scare me today—on the contrary, it strengthens me.”
