A stunning new survey released by the Center for Strategic Policy in the United States reveals shocking data about Democratic Party attitudes toward President Donald Trump. According to the poll’s findings, a majority of Democrats would be happy to see the president removed in a military coup or even die in office—reflecting unprecedented levels of animosity.
The detailed numbers show that nearly six in ten (59 percent) of Democratic respondents expressed feeling “very positive” or “somewhat positive” if Trump were ousted by a military junta that seized control of the American government. Additionally, 55 percent said they would feel similarly if the president passed away of natural causes. Even higher percentages—87 percent—expressed satisfaction with removal through impeachment proceedings, and 84 percent supported his removal by the Cabinet through the 25th Amendment.

The survey findings were released ahead of the midterm elections held on November 3, in which the Democratic Party was considered to have strong chances of regaining control of the House of Representatives after four years in opposition. The data underscores the deep and extreme hostility that large segments of the Democratic Party feel toward President Donald Trump, painting a troubling picture of political division in the United States.
