Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a sharp rebuke of the film "NAZA," which portrays IDF soldiers as war criminals and received applause at the Venice Film Festival, accusing the Israeli filmmakers of being part of a chain of slander originating within Israel's political system.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a scathing video response Monday to the screening of the film “Naza,” which depicts IDF soldiers as war criminals and received applause at the Venice Film Festival.

Addressing the filmmakers’ background, Netanyahu revealed they are Israeli directors who are members of the Directors Guild, whose head recently resigned and has joined Yashar, Gadi Eisenkot’s political party.

Because of this, the prime minister issued a direct and unequivocal demand to Eisenkot: “I say to Gadi Eisenkot: Cancel your surplus agreement with Yair Golan’s party, issue a strong condemnation of this, and kick this guy out of your party.”
