Israel completed demolition of UNRWA's Jerusalem headquarters after findings linked agency staff to Hamas and the October 7 massacre.

The Telor Kradi Group completed demolition of the UNRWA building in Jerusalem on Thursday. Footage from the site shows nothing remains of the structure—only flat rubble in the heart of the capital.

Evacuation of the building began in January, when police forces, engineers, and Israel Land Authority representatives entered to begin the process. The demolition followed serious findings uncovered since the start of the Iron Swords war, pointing to connections between UNRWA personnel and the Hamas terror organization. According to the security establishment, senior officials in the organization were directly involved in the massacre carried out on October 7, and underground infrastructure used by Hamas was found beneath UNRWA facilities in the Gaza Strip.

The demolished compound served as UNRWA’s central headquarters in Israel, spanning approximately 46 dunams between Mahal, Neter, and Shlomo Zalman Shragay streets. Though its official operations ceased about a year and a half ago, parties who illegally held the property continued to stay on site until the beginning of this year.

The project manager said: “Today we closed the circle with those who tried to harm Israel’s security.”
