Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran today that if it attacks Israel, it will suffer an unimaginable blow. “If Iran makes the mistake of attacking us, it will get hit in a way it can’t even imagine,” he said during a Rosh Hashanah toast at a cabinet meeting.
Netanyahu said Israel, together with the United States, has achieved gains in pushing back existential threats—including atomic bombs and ballistic missiles—and has struck the Iranian axis. “We are determined to defend ourselves; we are determined to strike our enemies,” he said.
The prime minister praised IDF soldiers and the security forces, noting operations against terrorists in Lebanon, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria. While significant achievements have been made, he said, tasks remain unfinished.
Referring to Iran’s government, Netanyahu said: “We are determined to complete the mission of toppling the regime.” He added that “this regime in Iran—its end is near. It’s weak, it’s fighting for its life, it’s crumbling,” and declared that Israel is determined to complete the objective.
