After C14 reported on talks to recruit him to former Brigadier General Ofer Winter’s new political party, Israeli-Arab activist Yoseph Haddad announced Sunday he’s stepping down as CEO of “Together, Responsible for One Another,” the nonprofit he founded over eight years ago.
In a post, Haddad wrote he’s leaving his position “with a heavy but whole heart” and heading toward “new destinations.” The organization he founded with partners was designed to promote integration and Israeli partnership in Arab society, and to amplify “a different Arab voice”—as he put it—one proud of both Arab and Israeli identity.

Haddad outlined the organization’s work over the years, including advocacy missions around the world, campus activism, pro-Israel demonstrations in capitals worldwide, and internal initiatives in Arab society—among them making Holocaust remembrance accessible in Arabic and organizing delegations to Poland.
He’ll be replaced by Lorina Khatib, who Haddad said has been a partner since the organization’s founding. “I know I’m leaving the organization in good hands,” he wrote, “and that it will continue to grow and lead important and courageous change.”
Haddad’s announcement comes as Winter gears up politically ahead of his new party’s launch next Tuesday. As C14 first reported, Winter has reached out to figures including Lali Deri and Yoseph Haddad in an attempt to recruit them to his new list, which he plans to run independently in the upcoming elections.
