Channel 14 has obtained details on roughly 150 deportation requests under Israel's new terrorist family law—all stalled by the Attorney General's office despite evidence of relatives praising attacks.

Despite the passage of a law allowing the deportation of terrorists’ families, Israel’s Attorney General’s office has blocked its implementation. Now Channel 14 has obtained information on roughly 150 cases submitted for review—all involving relatives of terrorists who, according to officials involved in the matter, expressed support for, praised, or glorified their family members’ attacks. In recent days, the “Betzalmo” organization approached the police requesting the names, but despite significant public interest and the concerns of victims’ families, the police are refusing to disclose which families are under review.

According to information obtained by Channel 14, the cases under review include a series of terrorist relatives who have published praise, support, or identification with their family members’ actions over the years.

Among the cases: the family of Musbah Abu Sabih, who carried out the 2017 Jerusalem attack that killed Border Police officer Yosef Kirma and civilian Levana Malichi. One of his sisters published content expressing admiration for the eliminated Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Another sister wrote after his death that she would never forgive the officers who she claimed “murdered” him.

Another case involves the family of the terrorist who carried out the Hadera attack, in which Border Police fighters Yazan Falah and Shirel Abu Karat were killed. The terrorist’s sister called him, according to the publications reviewed, “the heroic martyr.”

The family of Walid Daka, who kidnapped and murdered soldier Moshe Tamam, has also shown expressions of support for the terrorist over the years. His wife, according to the publications reviewed, expressed support for the October 7 events and praised terrorists, including Yahya Sinwar, alongside praise for her husband.

In another case—the 2017 Temple Mount attack in which Israeli police officers Hael Satawi and Kamil Shanan were killed—family members of the terrorists published messages of praise and pride in their actions over the years, according to information obtained by Channel 14. In some cases, messages also appeared calling on others to follow their path and ‘defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque’.
