Today (Thursday), police arrested 11 illegal aliens suspected of staying in Israel without permits on a rooftop in south Tel Aviv’s Hagdud Ha’ivri Street.
Officers from the Ayalon district’s Sharat station, working with Border Police fighters, moved in after a tip to the 100 emergency hotline reported suspicious individuals spotted on the building’s roof. A search turned up all the suspects, who range in age from 23 to 50.
The suspects were taken to Sharat station for questioning. Police said they will seek to extend their detention in court based on the investigation’s findings.
