In recent days Iran hasn’t hesitated to attack Arab states—nearly every country with an American presence has been hit. But the Arab world has noticed one country missing from Iran’s target list: Israel. An Egyptian journalist decided to confront the Iranians and expose what he believes is the reason they aren’t attacking Israel.
Egyptian media figure Ahmed Moussa delivered a monologue Monday evening during his broadcast on Sada El-Balad channel, raging against Iranian strikes on Arab states in recent days. The journalist explained what he believes is the reason Iran has attacked many Arab countries—but not Israel.

Moussa said: “Why aren’t you attacking Israel? Why are you attacking Arab countries? Israel is your enemy, but Iran attacks the Gulf states and Jordan! What kind of terrorism and gang activity is this? This is aggression against sister Arab states while leaving Israel alone. What is this Iranian treachery against the entire Arab world?!”
According to the journalist, Iran avoids striking Israel because it’s aware of the price it might pay in response. Moussa then continued accusing Iran: “This is state terrorism against the Arab world, this is terrorism. Iran attacks countries that sent nothing, it attacks them and their sovereignty and interferes in their affairs.”
