Zehut Chairman Moshe Feiglin issued an urgent call on Thursday to cancel the 26th Knesset elections outright and immediately hold a campaign-free snap re-vote,
reacting to the widening criminal and intelligence investigation known as the “Ra’amgate” affair. In a public statement published across social channels,Feiglin used intense language to frame the suspected vote-buying and foreign interference operations as an existential assault on the state’s democratic foundation.
“On election night, I already spoke to you about the October 7 of Israeli politics,” Feiglin wrote. “It seems to me that today, 36 hours later, everyone already understands that this is exactly what the 1948 Arabs did to us here. We must not let up; we must not give in. These elections must be canceled immediately, and we must head to a snap re-vote.”
“Battalions of Border Police”
Feiglin demanded deploying large forces at every polling station where Arabs vote. “Simply call on the public to come vote again, and this time with battalions of Border Police at every polling station where Arabs vote,” he wrote. He also demanded strict ID checks for every voter. Referring to women wearing burqas, he wrote that officials must verify the photo on the ID card matches the actual voter. To prevent further distortion, Feiglin outlined an unconventional framework for the proposed repeat vote, urging it to take place entirely free of traditional campaign machinery. Under his proposal, the snap election would run without advertisements, outdoor billboards, mass text campaigns, or public appeals from candidates, simply calling on the electorate to cast their ballots anew under clean conditions.
A central pillar of Feiglin’s demand focuses on direct enforcement at polling locations in Arab communities. “Simply call on the public to come vote again, and this time with Border Police battalions at every polling station where Arabs vote,” Feiglin wrote. He further insisted on uncompromising personal identification protocols for every citizen, stating specifically that election workers must visually inspect women wearing full-face veils, such as burqas, to verify that their physical appearance matches the photograph on their official state identification card.

Feiglin concluded his appeal by characterizing the measure as the only way to safeguard Israeli sovereignty against foreign subversion. “It cannot be that Qatar will take over our Knesset,” he argued, “because that is exactly what is going to happen here if there are not snap re-elections right now.”
His demands arrive as the inter-agency investigation into the affair continues to expand. Law enforcement units are currently holding seven suspects in connection with the cash-for-votes network uncovered in the Negev. At the same time,
the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) acts under formal directives from Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Solberg to trace suspected multi-million-shekel funding pipelines originating from hostile foreign states.
While security authorities work to establish the full evidentiary picture, Feiglin’s call injects an aggressive demand for a complete electoral restart into the national debate.
