The Wall Street Journal reported overnight (Wednesday) that the United States has informed Gulf states to prepare for a short, intense military campaign in Iran. This follows weeks of escalating tensions between Iran and the U.S., which have reached the point of a potential strike—one that would reignite the conflict.
Recent reports have indicated that President Trump is planning to strike Iran following next week’s midterm elections. A few days ago, the President emphasized that the U.S. military is prepared to act should Tehran attempt to “play games,” stating: “I have a decision to make: Do I end it—which would be very easy to do—or do I reach a deal? That is the decision.”
