More than 100 farm owners in Judea and Samaria published a letter of support for Finance Minister and Religious Zionism party chairman Bezalel Smotrich. In their letter, the farmers thanked the minister for his extensive work to strengthen Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, boost security and sovereignty, and for what they describe as changing the reality on the ground in favor of Jewish presence.
The farm owners opened their letter with an appeal to the broader public: “To our brothers and sisters, residents of Benjamin, Samaria and Judea and all the public that loves the Land of Israel, we, the farm people, turn to you out of a deep sense of responsibility for the future of the pioneering enterprise, for its security and for strengthening the Jewish hold in Judea and Samaria.”
The supporters pointed to what they called a fundamental shift led by Smotrich in his roles as finance minister and minister in the Defense Ministry. “In recent years, under the responsibility of Finance Minister and Minister in the Defense Ministry Bezalel Smotrich, a significant change has been led in policy toward the pioneering enterprise and in the State of Israel’s approach on the ground,” they wrote.

The signatories detailed the main accomplishments they attribute to the minister: “We see this in action: strengthening Jewish communities, advancing construction, regulating outposts, developing infrastructure and expanding Jewish life in Judea and Samaria. Strengthening security and sovereignty, fighting terror, strengthening enforcement and deepening the State of Israel’s ability to operate and defend its lands.”
The farm owners concluded by expressing their deep appreciation for Smotrich’s work. “We wish to express our appreciation to Minister Smotrich for the action, for the determination and for standing firm on the principles of Jewish life in Judea and Samaria, security and hold on the Land of Israel. The road is still long, the tasks are many, but the direction is clear—strengthening the pioneering enterprise and continuing the reality.”
