The Home Front Command issued an alert today (Friday) to Galilee residents, notifying them that the IDF is expected to carry out multiple significant strikes in the Lebanon sector in the coming hours. The notice is intended to update the public and prepare them for the planned military activity in the northern sector, against the backdrop of ongoing fighting with the Lebanese Hezbollah terror organization.
According to the official notice, as a result of the extensive strikes by our forces, explosion sounds are expected to be heard throughout Galilee communities. The areas where the activity is expected to be heard prominently are the western Galilee and the central Upper Galilee, where most of the planned offensive activity is concentrated.
The Home Front Command emphasizes that this is proactive IDF activity, and that the public update is intended to prevent unnecessary panic among residents in the area. The public is asked to continue following Home Front Command instructions as needed, and to remain alert to any security developments in the sector.
