The defense establishment suspects that the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force is working to recruit terrorists in Lebanon and Syria to carry out attacks inside Israel, as forces struck a Syrian operative who was advancing terror plots under Iranian direction.

Israel suspects that the Quds Force—a terrorist organization and the elite unit of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps—has recently been working to recruit terrorists in Lebanon and Syria to carry out attacks within Israeli territory.

Meanwhile, just this past weekend, Israeli forces conducted an airstrike targeting Syrian terrorist Yusuf Ali al-Hasson, who had been advancing terror plots in Syria under the direction of the Iranian terror regime.

Over the past year, al-Hasson advanced several terror plots against Israeli forces in the region—all of which were thwarted. These plots included the launching of explosive-laden drones and rockets at Israeli forces in southern Syria.
