Joint List Chairman Yousef Jabareen announced that his faction is prepared to provide a crucial parliamentary safety net for any alternative coalition capable of toppling the right-wing government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Highlighting the removal of the current government as his party's top priority, Jabareen said he is fully ready to enter direct negotiations on the operational terms, while also lashing out at Likud's newly launched Arabic campaign targeting rampant crime.

Joint List Chairman Yousef Jabareen issued a major political declaration, saying his faction is prepared to provide a parliamentary safety net to any alternative coalition capable of bringing down the right-wing government. In his remarks, Jabareen emphasized that his party is ready to negotiate directly on the terms and procedural mechanisms needed to coordinate the move in the Knesset. “We will grant a safety net to any government that replaces Netanyahu’s government. We are prepared to negotiate on this,” Jabareen stated.

Jabareen’s declaration comes amid parallel discussions by various opposition figures exploring scenarios for a change in national leadership. In his remarks, the Joint List chairman made clear that his faction views ousting the incumbent government as its primary operational goal, offering political backing intended to ensure the stability of any alternative coalition assembled in its place. Jabareen made similar remarks on Thursday, saying “the Joint List will send Netanyahu home.” He delivered the comments in response to the Likud’s newly launched Arabic-language campaign.

The Joint List chairman added: “After years of abandoning Arab society, Netanyahu remembers on the eve of the elections, and against the backdrop of the Joint List’s growing strength, to promise an ‘iron fist’ against crime. The audacity of this prime minister knows no bounds.”
