Fly Dubai remains in the spotlight after last week’s attempted terror attack. Now, a hacker group has breached the company’s website and gotten its hands on thousands of documents, including flight operations documentation and personnel data exports.
The Emirati site Hackrisk.io reported Wednesday that a hacker group called “Everest” claims to have breached the catering company of airline Fly Dubai and obtained a database containing 16,517 files totaling 4.36 gigabytes—while the terror attack investigation is in full swing.
According to the report, the database includes flight operations documentation, crew training records, personnel data exports, manufacturer technical publications, electronic flight bag kits, and Boeing engineering software.

The operational material covers Boeing 737NG systems, pre-flight checks, ETOPS procedures (extended-range operations for twin-engine aircraft), aircraft performance, loading, winter operations, low-visibility procedures, navigation, electronic flight bags (EFB), and weather radar.
Even before this breach, the hacker group broke into partner airline Fly Emirates’ site in July, extracting thousands of files and confidential company information then as well.
