Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has departed Ben Gurion Airport following operational briefings on the arrival of the flydubai relief flight, heading to hold an urgent telephone consultation with U.S. President Donald Trump. The upcoming dialogue between the two leaders will center on the thwarted mid-air terror hijacking, regional aviation protocols, and broader security coordination in the Middle East.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has departed Ben Gurion Airport following on-site operational evaluations regarding the thwarted terror incident aboard flydubai Flight FZ1073, en route to hold a scheduled telephone consultation with United States President Donald Trump.

The Prime Minister’s departure follows the landing of the extraction flight carrying Israeli passengers back to Tel Aviv from Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Netanyahu’s upcoming phone conversation with President Trump is expected to address the regional fallout from the foiled hijacking plot, cross-border intelligence coordination, and enhanced security directives for international flights across the Middle East.
