A drone that crossed overnight Monday from the east into Israeli territory was carrying nine AK-47 rifles, magazines, and a pistol in an attempt to smuggle weapons across the eastern border.
1+IDF observation posts and air control systems detected the drone as it crossed into Israeli territory. Following the detection, forces from the Yoav Brigade were dispatched to the area and located the drone and the weapons it was carrying.
Nine AK-47 rifles, magazines, and a pistol were found on the drone. The weapons were transferred to security forces for further handling.
