An IDF engineering vehicle struck an explosive device Monday during routine operations near the Yellow Line in the Gaza Strip. No Israeli soldiers were wounded in the incident, which the IDF described as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement by the Hamas terrorist organization.
In response, the IDF struck Hamas terror infrastructure in Gaza that had been used by the organization to advance terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.
IDF forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to eliminate any immediate threat.
