An RPG launcher concealed inside a pipe was seized during a targeted operational search carried out by Israeli police forces in the Tamra area, police announced on Sunday.
1+Detectives from the National Unit for Serious and International Crimes (Yahbal) in Lahav 433, Border Police National Guard tactical fighters, and a canine handler from the Northern District conducted the search operation jointly. According to the police statement, the forces operated using specialized technological assets to detect the hidden weapon.
1+Following the discovery of the concealed rocket launcher, Northern District police bomb disposal technicians arrived at the scene and safely neutralized and evacuated the heavy ordnance from the premises.
