Israeli forces eliminated two terrorists in Hamas’s military wing on Monday during pinpoint strikes in Khan Younis and Gaza City. According to the IDF Spokesperson, both terrorists were actively orchestrating hostile plots against Israeli forces and civilians, posing an imminent operational threat.
1+In the strike conducted in Khan Younis, forces neutralized Rafat Abu Zamar, a terrorist company commander within the operations headquarters of Hamas’s military wing. Abu Zamar directed and oversaw training regiments for terror squads ahead of the October 7 massacre, and in recent months continued training terrorists and developing the terror group’s combat proficiencies.
In a concurrent strike carried out in Gaza City, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Khader Fahmi Agour, a terrorist in Hamas’s military wing who specialized in the domestic research and production of weaponry for the organization.
1+The IDF Spokesperson stated that both terrorists had recently worked to reconstitute depleted Hamas capabilities and advance terror plots in systematic breach of the existing ceasefire framework. Military officials emphasized that the strikes were executed to neutralize the immediate threat they posed. Before and during the operations, forces took extensive precautions to mitigate collateral damage and minimize harm to uninvolved civilians, including deploying precision-guided munitions and conducting continuous aerial surveillance. Southern Command forces remain deployed throughout the operational sector in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act decisively to remove emerging threats.
