Two well-known airlines are expected to resume flights to Israel at the end of October. The carriers, which disappeared since the war began, have finally confirmed their return to Ben Gurion Airport toward the end of the month. According to information received, barring any last-minute changes or developments, British Airways and Iberia Express are expected to return to operations at Ben Gurion on October 25.
Iberia Express is expected to restart flights on the Tel Aviv–Madrid route, while British Airways is expected to resume flying the Tel Aviv–London route. The anticipated return of both carriers comes at a time when the flight schedule from Israel continues to shift, as foreign airlines return to operations or update their return dates based on developments.
For Israeli travelers, this means the expected return of two familiar flight options to major European destinations—London and Madrid. That said, it’s important to emphasize at this stage that this is an expected return date, not a final schedule, and it could still change if there are last-minute developments or changes. If there are no changes, October 25 will be the date when both carriers are expected to resume operating routes from Israel.
The airlines have not returned to Israel since the attack on Iran. Flight options to Madrid today are quite limited, while for London, El Al announced this week that it is expanding the number of flights to that destination.
