Israeli security authorities arrested 19-year-old Arab Israeli Mustafa Issa, a resident of Kafr Qasim, following an extensive investigation that uncovered concrete preparations to execute a domestic terror attack. Radicalized by Operation Guardian of the Walls and the October 7 atrocities, Issa acquired tactical gear, downloaded explosive manufacturing manuals on his phone, and actively attempted to assemble improvised bombs before being apprehended.

A 19-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim was arrested in recent weeks on suspicion of advancing hostile terrorist activity. The investigation revealed that the suspect, Mustafa Issa, had entered advanced planning stages for a domestic terror attack, heavily influenced by Operation Guardian of the Walls and the October 7 massacre perpetrated by Hamas.

At the time of his arrest, security forces confiscated substantial tactical training equipment and airsoft weaponry in his possession. Forensic extraction of his cellular device revealed extensive searches for combat manuals, as well as downloaded guides detailing the assembly and manufacture of improvised explosive devices.

Investigators further determined that Issa actively attempted to produce improvised explosive devices using various accessible compounds, even involving other individuals in these procurement and testing efforts. Upon concluding the joint probe, a prosecutor’s statement was filed with the Central District Court ahead of a formal indictment.
