Neo-Nazi activists shouted derogatory slurs and sported red armbands emblazoned with swastikas during an open demonstration in the heart of New York City over the weekend. The shocking display unfolded just blocks away from the official state memorial service honoring the victims of the September 11 terror attacks.

The son of one of the 9/11 victims, Michael Massaroli, who concluded the reading of victims’ names during the annual ceremony, delivered a blistering response: “You are not honoring my father’s legacy or the legacy of all the victims by using this tragedy to spread hate.”
The neo-Nazi outfit that gathered in downtown Manhattan to agitate against “Jewish power” describes itself as “white socialist,
” dedicating its agenda to “preserving the white working class” and combating what it alleges to be Jewish societal influence.
The demonstration proceeded without intervention from local authorities, despite brazen antisemitic chants that featured the Nazi slogan “Heil Hitler” paired alongside shouts of “Free Palestine.”
Video footage circulating online, showing neo-Nazi operatives marching openly in public thoroughfares with swastika insignias, reflects a grim reality where public manifestations of hate have become visible across New York.
The rally also featured direct threats and targeted attacks on Jewish public figures, as well as Jake Lang, an anti-Muslim Senate candidate whom the marchers denounced as a “Jew in disguise.” Throughout the march, the extremists chanted through megaphones: “Everyone needs to unite against the Jewish threat, Jewish power, Jewish manipulation—they endanger the white man and everyone altogether.”
