The Israel Defense Forces eliminated two terrorists from the Hamas and ‘Palestinian’ Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist organizations in targeted operations across the Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed. One of the terrorists was struck on Sunday in the Al-Shati area of the northern Gaza Strip. The military identified him as Subhi Khader Hashem al-Batrihi, a terrorist affiliated with ‘Palestinian’ Islamic Jihad. According to the IDF, al-Batrihi took an active role in planting improvised explosive devices (IEDs) directed at IDF troops operating in the sector.
In a separate strike conducted several days prior, Israeli forces eliminated Ahmed Fouad Khalil Hilles, a terrorist serving within the Nukhba commando force of Hamas’s military wing. The IDF stated that Hilles had participated in planting explosives and carrying out hostile actions against Israeli forces deployed across the Strip. The military noted that both terrorists had recently been advancing terror plots against IDF personnel and Israeli civilians, systematically violating the established ceasefire framework. Military officials emphasized that they targeted and eliminated the two to neutralize the immediate, ongoing threat they posed.
