Two illegals from Jenin were arrested in Akko along with a northern Israeli resident suspected of driving them, after their vehicle was stopped at an impromptu checkpoint near Horseshoe Beach in the Old City. The three were detained after a check revealed the two passengers were residents of the PA.
In a separate operation by patrol teams from Kiryat Ata in Rekhasim, police located an illegal alien who, according to police, was staying in Israel without permits and working on renovation jobs. He was arrested along with his employer.
Meanwhile, following an accelerated investigation at the Akko station, an indictment was filed against another woman, an illegal who was located and arrested in recent days.

Police said the operations were conducted as part of enforcement against illegal stay violations, and that actions will continue against illegals and those who assist them with transportation, housing, or employment.
