Israeli forces struck Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, destroying weapons warehouses in response to two explosive drones launched at troops operating near the Ali Taher ridge overnight.

Israeli forces struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon on Thursday. The strikes destroyed warehouses storing weapons intended for use against Israeli troops and civilians.

According to an IDF spokesperson, the strikes came in response to an incident overnight: Hezbollah forces attempted to attack Israeli troops operating near the Ali Taher ridge inside the security zone.

During the overnight operation, Hezbollah launched two explosive drones at Israeli forces—but caused no damage. The IDF spokesperson emphasized that Israel’s security establishment will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or troops, and that operations to remove threats will continue.
