The U.S. last night (Monday) offered a reward of up to $10 million for information on senior officials in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and its branches. The published list featured five commanders, one of whom—Majid Khademi—was killed in an Israeli Air Force strike in April.
Khademi, who headed the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence organization, was appointed to the role following the assassination of Mohammad Katami in Operation “Rising Lion.” In his position, he worked to gather intelligence for senior regime officials during Operation “Roaring Lion.”
The U.S. also offered the reward for Ahmad Vahidi, described in the announcement as a Revolutionary Guards commander; Ali Abdollahi, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Command (the war and emergency headquarters for all Iranian military forces); Saeed Aghajani, commander of the Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force’s drone division; and Hamidreza Lashgarian, head of the Cyber and Electronic Command.
