The family and friends of Nachman Kinan, a 24-year-old Chabad Hasid from Beit Shemesh who has been missing since Monday (August 10), are calling on the public to join a large-scale search for him in the Tiberias area. The search will take place Monday morning at 9:00 AM. The appeal comes as fears for the young man’s life grow—his trail has gone completely cold near Gai Beach on the Sea of Galilee.
Kinan, whose full name is Katriel Nachman Kinan, was last seen Monday evening at 6:00 PM near Gai Beach in Tiberias while on his way to Safed. He is of medium build, about 5’9″ tall, with black hair, brown eyes, and a black beard. When he disappeared, he was wearing a white shirt and black suit, a fedora with a yellow Moshiach flag pin on it, and was carrying a black backpack and brown tefillin bag.
The missing man’s brother, Daniel Kinan, appealed to the public and said that fears for his brother’s life are growing by the moment. He asked anyone who can come to Tiberias Monday morning to join the search, emphasizing that every pair of eyes and every share could be critical to bringing Nachman home safely. The family is also asking the public to help spread his photo and details on social media.
