The IDF announced Thursday that Israeli forces killed a Hamas terrorist in an airstrike in the Khan Younis area. The terrorist planned and advanced terror attacks against Israeli forces operating in the Gaza Strip. According to reports on Arab networks, the terrorist’s name is Jamal Abu Kamil who aslo worked as Gaza Governorate Police Chief .
2+The strike follows additional Israeli Air Force attacks last night in northern Gaza. Those strikes targeted a cell leader in Hamas’s military wing who also advanced and planned terror attacks against Israeli forces. The operations come against a backdrop of repeated violations of the Gaza agreement.
2+As we reported, several infiltration incidents have been recorded recently. In one incident, Hamas terrorists crossed into the Yellow Line zone, stole engineering equipment, and returned to the Red zone after Israeli forces were not authorized to eliminate them.
2+In the past week alone, more than 65 crossings were recorded—three times the number recorded since the political echelon’s directive to hold fire. As a reminder, Board of Peace Secretary-General Nikolai Mladenov announced last night the activation of a mechanism to monitor violations of the Gaza agreement, and clarified that any violation that occurs will be dealt with.
