Former Hamas hostage Ziv Berman said Tuesday that the physical confrontation between Israeli activist Yoseph Haddad and groyper Dennis Feitosa reminded him of the darkest period of his life. “I was reminded of my time in the tunnels, of those ‘conversations’ I had with the terrorists. It started with them playing victim, moved to complete ignorance, and the moment I answered and tried to explain something they didn’t like, it turned to violence.” In a post on his Instagram account, Berman wrote: “Physical violence, verbal violence, and there were also those who were afraid of confrontation so they sent me to my ‘room’ and I hear them from afar starting to curse and laugh at me.” The hostage survivor addressed the activist directly, expressing clear support: “Yoseph, I’m with you, the people of Israel are with you, they won’t intimidate us, they won’t defeat us!”

Berman concluded by saying he hopes the video reaches a wide audience: “People will finally start to understand what we have to deal with. Hatred without understanding, without basis and without direction. Good luck to the world that now has to deal with them.” The heated verbal confrontation during a podcast recording between Arab-Israeli activist Yoseph Haddad and American right-wing content creator and influencer Dennis Feitosa quickly escalated and deteriorated into an especially violent brawl.
The incident began in the recording studio and continued outside in the building’s parking lot, where the two were filmed exchanging blows. During a heated discussion in the podcast studio, harsh exchanges and raised voices developed between Haddad and Feitosa. According to media reports, the verbal argument quickly spilled into a physical confrontation that included punches and kicks. After those present separated the two, the confrontation didn’t end—Prager tried to attack Haddad again outside the studio, in the parking area.
Those close to Haddad noted cynically that “he didn’t know he was messing with a Golanchik,” referring to the activist’s military service as a fighter and commander in the Golani Brigade. The parking lot confrontation ended with Feitosa being beaten badly.

The activist didn’t let it slide—he filed an official complaint with local police. “I just left the police station in Vegas, I filed a complaint against my attacker—hopefully he’ll be arrested soon and I hope he’ll be prosecuted for this here.”
