The Commander of the Central Command signed a demolition order over the weekend for the home in the village of Till where terrorist Farooq Ramadan resided. The terrorist carried out the shooting attack in which Sgt. Maj. (res.) Benayahu Mellet and Maj. Yuval Ezra were murdered. The terrorist was eliminated at the scene by our forces immediately following the attack.
Following the military’s announcement of its intention to demolish the structure, the terrorist’s family submitted an objection against the decision. After examination of the claims by relevant authorities in the IDF, it was decided to reject the objection and uphold the demolition order. The family was granted a window of time to file a petition, after which the demolition will be executed.
As recalled, the deadly shooting attack occurred about a week and a half ago near Gilad Ranch in Samaria. Released footage revealed the moments leading up to the lethal shooting: the video shows a violent assault on a group of Jewish hikers, the struggle that ensued at the scene, and the moment when the security coordinator’s weapon was seized.

At the center of the footage, the Gilad Ranch security coordinator and the sector company commander are seen working to fend off the mob and protect the hikers. Benayahu Mellet (may God avenge his blood), who was present at the scene, joined the effort to assist and move the attackers away from the civilians and the force.
Further in the video, a violent crowd is seen surrounding the Gilad Ranch security coordinator. According to the footage, several terrorists managed to snatch his weapon, and one of them opened fire with it. The shooting resulted in the attack in which Benayahu Mellet and Yuval Ezra were murdered.
