Senior Hamas terrorist Ghazi Hamad, one of the few surviving top figures following the IDF’s targeted eliminations, laid out his doctrine regarding the Jewish state (“Why should Israel exist? That’s the question”) in an interview with British host Piers Morgan—until the tough questions began, causing him to lose his composure.
Hamad was convinced he was entering a sympathetic platform and declared that “Hamas does not intentionally target civilians.” However, he was caught off guard when Morgan rejected the ridiculous argument, firing back: “That is absolute rubbish, Mr. Hamad. We all saw what happened on October 7th.”
When Hamad continued to claim that no orders were given to kill women, children, and civilians, Morgan escalated his tone: “Errors? You shot innocent people. Hamas intentionally massacred people at a music festival. Hundreds of young people came to enjoy themselves, and that was a war crime.”
Hamad again tried to shirk responsibility, claiming that individuals might have acted against instructions. Morgan refused to accept the explanation, confronting him: “You burned people alive inside their homes.”
Then came the question that left even Hamad speechless: “Why would you kidnap a baby? What possible justification could there be for that?” The senior Hamas official briefly lost his confidence, stammered, and tried to evade the question. Instead of answering, he invented a claim that Hamas offered at the beginning of the war to release all civilians, but “Israel refused.”
