U.S.: Iran Tried to Convince Hamas to Reject Gaza Deal

A US official told Reuters that Tehran attempted to dissuade Hamas from accepting the disarmament agreement, but the U.S. claims it overcame the Iranian pressure. The US official added that president Trump would be disappointed if Israel rejects the deal.

An American official said Tehran tried to talk Hamas out of the disarmament deal, but the U.S. believes it successfully countered the Iranian effort, Reuters reported.
