The IDF and Shin Bet destroyed four Hamas weapons caches overnight Wednesday across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip, according to a joint statement from the Shin Bet and IDF spokespeople.

The caches contained Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, anti-tank launchers, ammunition, and additional military equipment. According to the statement, the weapons were intended for Hamas to carry out terror attacks against IDF forces operating in the Yellow Line corridor and against Israeli civilians.
The statement added that the caches were destroyed to eliminate the threat. The Shin Bet and IDF claim Hamas continues to systematically violate the ceasefire agreement and is attempting to rebuild its military capabilities. IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove threats.
